I will be making a video today in fact ... on long distances and wind. Thanks Filipe...:)
Hey i believe the Polish company is called Holan not Nolan
Ola Micha...Thank you my friend. Yes it is Holan. Ill correct it in the video.
♌♌♌♌
There is 3p system made from shad and looking great. Made for f900gs. And adding to that new extendable panniers 38l. I will go with that system
I havent seen it but yes that should be good, Shad is a good company....
Only negative side is that those lone rider beauties are not compatible with that system😢
@@ivanmiletic7655 true... the lone rider bags are good.
I really like your two videos on this...I am in such a similar situation. I have a deposit on a 2024 Africa Twin base model, non-adventure sports model. I have never ridden an Africa Twin. Although I have extensive experience with many motorcycles, I have none with adventure bikes specifically. I've owned nearly 100 bikes from dual sports, dirt bikes, sport bikes, and crusiers. I finally realized adventure riding is what I've been looking for the whole time. After setting up my XR650L with Mosko bags and other adventure accessories, I realized I'm going to need a real adventure bike and the XR650L isn't going to cut it....especially for the highway. So.... here are the four adventure bikes I am going to choose from: Africa Twin, BMW F 900 GS, Tenere 700, and finally a 2024 CF450 MT Moto. Africa Twin most likely will arrive in May/June in the USA. Tenere 700 is already here---I test road it and like it but not sure it will be ideal for highway use for longer trips (1,000 + miles) Yes, I know it can do that but can the Africa Twin do it better? Probably. The F900 won't arrive to the US until JUL--- Doubt I'll sit around and wait for it to arrive and possibly lose dibs on the Africa Twin I have a deposit on. The last bike, CF450 Motto (Ibex). Check it out! Yeah, made in China. But after much research, new owners love this bike! It looks exceptionally capable off-road.....but doesn't arrive until August. So, since I obviously can't buy all four (If I could I would), I think I most likely will choose the Africa Twin, and the CF450 Moto. If the Africa Twin doesn't work out, my next priority would be the BMW F900. I have seen some amazing you tube reviews on the F 900 and it is truly a phenomenal bike. But, for my purposes, not sure how it would perform for longer highway rides at 1,000 miles plus.
I have no idea why part of my comments are lined through?
Hi Theo..Thank you so much for liking my videos. My F900 is ready at the dealership, bags and all. I get delivery either sat the 4th or wed the 8th. Depends on weather..lol. Its supposed to rain hard on sat here. I can then tell you a lot more about the F900. CF moto is a popular bike in Europe and in Portugal. Ill actually do some more research on it and try to make a video on it. CF has a good name here so I would not worry its chinese made ,,,most bikes are these days. I wouldnt be surprised if a good chunk of the AT or the F900 is Chinese made also. You have good experience riding various bikes, the best thing is as you already know is to test ride them. Good luck...)
You decided to go with BMW. Just it say BMW😂😂😂
I bought tiger 900 RP a month ago
Thats an excellent bike...I used to own it in the US till 2022. Rode it all the way from border of Mexico to border of Canada on the Coastal Highway.
Congratulations on your new adventure companion! I am 100% sure you will put it to good use 😅
Ola Diogo...im going to ride it to you my friend and take some lessons....
Hi, both great bikes, I hear the 2024 triumph engine has been. Smoothed out to reduce vibration . I went from a gs to a 2024 gsa , I gotta say I’m blown away how good it handles it’s so easy to ride , dare I say easier than my 23 GS. I do think that as my years roll by I’ll feel similar thoughts to you and find the GSA & GS (1250s) to heavy but not as I approach 60 @ 180cm & 92 kgs I can still move them both around no problem . Maybe in another 5 or so years I’ll look at lower seat and lower bike weights . Thinking tiger 900, Honda transalp . I reckon to keep biking I’ll eventually end up on a bmw / Honda 750cc step through scooter . They’ve come along way and really look fun on the twisty’s . Ride safe 🤛👍
Thank you...:)
I'm sorry to say but the lighting situation is so poor that I had no interest to watch the video. Enjoy your new bike.
Thanks...Ill try to improve the lighting in my next videos.
Did you test ride the Gs1300
no i didnt, i owned the 1250 gs 2019 and thereabouts..its a good bike im sure, i wanted to get away from the weight and get something more nimble that i was more comfortable taking off road....
Man you change bikes a lot which is good
lol...well i hope this is my last ...i liked the feel of the 900 on the test ride and i want to keep this for a while....)

Good to know your thoughts on this. I am keen on F900.
Thanks Jit ..my test ride with the 900 was awesome. Im waiting on my accessories and then I take delivery of the 900 probably mid to end next week. Ill create better comparisons then.
I would like to hear a real world comparison to the tiger 900 rp?
hi let me get my bike and ride it for a few hundred kms or miles...and then that will be a more rational video of the comparison...:) Thank you for the idea....
Why didn’t you go with a Yamaha World Raid?
The Yamaha is a very good bike. In fact im going to be riding that with some friends for a offroad video soon. Ill be honest with you, cornering ABS saved my ass 6 or 7 years back in the mountains in California. The one and only time, I came in a bit too hard on the corner - it was my mistake. The F900 has it and the yamaha not....not a big deal for most people, but i just felt safer with the F900.
Hi sir …congratulations on your new bike .. just wanna know what made you opt for GS 900 in exechange of 900 tiger …iam on tiger800. Ex looking at this BMW as well … Thsnks a ton 🙌
@@awesomeagnihotrisvlog Hii Thanks for the message. I used to own the tiger 900 rally pro in USA. Loved that bike. BMW 900 and tiger 900 are similar, the BMW feels more nimble and lighter, but this is from riding a test bike for 50kms only. I get delivery of my bike in about 2 weeks eg approx around April 25 or so, once I ride it more, I can then tell more about the differences.
@@TheNomadRidesThe tiger gt is lighter for sure; 200 to 206kg vs 220 plus thats why i want to get the tiger vs my 750gs at 222kg. . 6' and old can't control the weight. Looking whats good for 2 up adding another 70kg ??
@@ed.t.hansen6499 test ride it first and see how it feels.
Not a lot of good options for us tall folks. I am 6’4” and ride the big GS for that reason. It’s still not ideal, but most other bikes are downright a torture.
Thats so true. Im back riding soon after a 2 year break. Will be posting more videos soon, from Portugal actually, Motorcycle Paradise...lol

Salut. hTe,love it. beautiful sharing- see you later, ))
thank you...:)
I've just sold my 800xca and got a 900 rally pro and love it. Looked at the 1250gs and it was way more expensive and heavy for what I do. Like you, I avoid highways/motorways as much as possible 😂
I just sold my 800 xrx planing to buy the 2024 900 rally pro, couldn't get a chance to test ride the tiger 900, heard the t-plane engine has a good amount of vibrations, does it feel unrefined or too vibey? Also planning to keep the bike for a really long time, does it feel built to last like the tiger 800?
Triumph have now modified the upper crash bars
How tall are you please?
im so sorry elaine for the late response...im 6ft 1. thanks
@@TheNomadRides no worries! I actually got the info in another video of yours 🙏😊

Hi!!! I have the same doubts; today I have BMW 1250 GS HP, is beauty but I´m looking for this motorcycle by some reason. I´ve been riding boxer for a long time but now I need something more lightweight. I like Triumph Tiger 900 very much and you gave me the push I was needing. I’m on my sixty and I hope to continue riding a motorcycle for a long time. Regards
I have the very same bike and recommend the SW Motec sump guard (German), Barkbuster hand guards (originals are weak), Scorpion Exhaust in titanium (UK made, don't know if California legal) which is so light it's a problem to stop it floating away 😂. It sound great and adds a bit more oomph. I also fitted Touretech folding mirrors because it's handy to fold them in when on narrow tracks. I have the Triumph expedition topbox which I hate the look of but the utility is great when touring. Soft panniers as the aluminium one's stick out way too far.
The challenge with these bikes is test riding them. Not an option where I live. Even if it were, a 15 min ride does not reveal what an 8 hour ride will.
Hi sir ! hello from India. Just baught a rally pro few weeks back, could you make a seperate video for suspention setup if possible. Regards
Hi, thank you for this review. I have r1200gs 2018. And like you I love this bike I put 55 000km on, I buy septembre 2018. And I m looking for the ktm 890 adv. 2023, because I do more Offroad since 3 years. And the ktm 890 are more easy in offroad with the 21inch on front is à big difference. But about the weight you write 120 pounds. I think you make mistakes.... the GS 1200 are 222kg Dry weight and the ktm are 196kg Dry weight, it is 26kg difference ( Dry weight) or 58 pounds....
You said you did a lot of research. You want a bike for international travel so why did you picked a KTM, which runs on premium fuel?
Hey! For future reference: Your rear break & shifter are adjustable. Also your clutch lever and front break lever are also adjustable. Totally free easy job for anyone
Interesting comparison. I sold my 2014 GSA for a Honda ATAS DCT ES. The Honda selling point for me was the DCT. Several months in and it’s the weight and high centre of gravity that frankly don’t work for my riding. I ride the Tiger 900 but the odd crank gave it a buzz that I really don’t like plus the riding position seems leaned forward vs the BMW and Honda. Then I rode a KTM 890 which I loved. On my test ride I just wanted to ride further and further. I have no off-road pretensions hence not the R model but it’s balance and perfect road manners had me sold. Where the Honda is almost intimidating in bulk and overall heft, the KTM is nimble, planted and yet perfect in traffic where I spend too much of my time. I would happily commute and do long rides and certainly on minor roads. Even so, on our main highways it was excellent despite the relative lack of bulk and hence protection. I’ve bought an 890 and get it on a few weeks. Time will tell! Best, Ian

I did exactly the same 3 weeks ago. Traded in my 2017 BMW GSA for a 2022 KTM 890 Adventure R. Want maybe to do the Great Divide in a couple years and the BMW which is the greatest bike made was just a little to much. A mini tank. Took the KTM out alone to the desert this morning, climbing a hill with rocks and dumbed it. Picked it up right away and rode on. Wouldn’t have tried that hill myself with the BMW.
Yes weight matters...:)
Hi Thank you for the great videos... I've been watching for a while. I'm in a dilemma!! I have a 1250 Rallye and got tempted to buy a used 890 adventure r. The gs is hevy off-road bit very comfortable on rod. The 890 is a bit harsh on road and on bumps bit great off-road although I find it too strong when gravel is loose! Thinking of selling the gs for a friend who wants it and swapping the 890 for a tiger Rallye pro. My fear is that it is heavier and softer which makes it less capable off-road! What do you recommend? Is it really heavier and more difficult to Handel off-road than the 890? Maybe it's the best compromise between the gs and the Ktm !! Thanks 🙏

Great video, thanks. Does the Tomtom stick out you have it in the holder? I mean does it cover the TFT screen?
Thank you for answering this question, as it's exactly the one I had. I think I would choose the GS as I appreciate high speed highway stability and my BMW dealer is only 1 hour away vs 3 hours for Triumph. Thanks again!
