    Great Review! I never owned anything but a manual and I am going to keep it that. DCT is a great automatic but it’s still an automatic. DCT is a no brainer for racing/tracking but for every day street driving a manual is the way to go.

    This scares me because my tendency is to find stuff and take it apart, but I don't do a good job of putting things back the way they were. I fear I might end up with a convertible after this.

    Design is not only subjective, but people's opinions on it change over time, as they did with the E60, which was initially hated, only to gain legendary status later on. Same goes for the G60. Personally, I find it very elegant and reminiscent of the E60. But what positively cannot change in people's mind is the quality of the interior. And sadly, in the G60 it is atrocious. Just look at the window switches on the driver side. Or the buttons on the steering wheel. They belong on a FIAT at best. I sat in a G60 a while ago and was appalled. Shame.

    the pursuit of trivial cosmetics... does this improve performance? does it improve wheel fitment? does it allow for wider tires? Better handling? No to all the above. Is there risk of galvanic corrosion? Extra wear and tear on bearings? possible to rub tires on fenders? yes to all. so why bother? does it really look better? IDK, i don't think it matters.

    I own a 2022 Model Y Performance. I love it. Personally, I like the interior. I think people don’t give Tesla enough credit for the ease of use and their Supercharger network. That network is the reason I picked Tesla over other EVs. The only EV I’d consider aside from Tesla is the Porsche Taycan and Kia EV6 GT.

    Personally i am FKN SICK of manufacterers completly redesigning their crap every 2 to 3 years!!! The only way they will be able to keep dropping their price is to keep the current platform generating revenue over years!! Without having to spend a billion dollars a year making shittier products with seemingly shorter lifespans every new model (every car manufacterer) i would appreciate a platform like these where over time they can work the bugs out and improve quality... wether thattl actualy happen or not!..

    Great video as always but two comments if I may: 4.0 991.2 takes closer to 7liters of oil during oil change, guess you said something about 9-12l? Your buddy seems rather strong, but he almost got a heart attack torquing the oil filter. In my 991.2 I'm torquing it down with 25Nm which is a bit more than hand tide. Looking at him one could say he was putting at least 100Nm there 😂

  • @TommyLGarage
    @TommyLGarage3 күн бұрын

    No, we added 8 L. What I meant is that the actual system takes a lot more because what is left in the oil coolers in the front is not drained during regular oil changes.

    The iX is far superior to all Teslas. I’m sitting in my Models and there is nothing special about it. Test drive an iX last week and I can tell you the comfort and quality is EXTREMELY brilliant. The tech is far superior in the BMW, head up display, 360 camera, massage seats and better auto pilot. It’s subjective what look you prefer. I personally like the look of the iX but the interior is where is really shine Price is irrelevant as you wouldn’t compare the iX to the lowly model Y. It’s comparable to the model X which I have also driven. If you’re interested in cars in this price range go and test drive them Before you draw conclusions Just don’t drive or sit inside the BMW i7 because that’s a good whole level above. Only Rolls Royce or Maybach can compete There
