... And master of none...
The Aussie tree worker, amidst the eucalyptus sway, rises with the sun, harnessing grit and skill. From lofty branches to the rugged ground, their hands carve a symphony of arboricultural mastery. Through sunburned days and kookaburra serenades, they stand tall, rooted in a life intertwined with the majestic dance of Australian trees.

Music is distracting, not necessary...
Cheers. I've heard that I bit, will ease up on it
Rock on 🤘
Good job. Awesome progress Quentin
I'm starting to appreciate that evil laugh that you could just hear from you when he ran out of fuel...
Yeah, I have a good ying yang balance
Definitely a win well done Q every day we learn something new Great angle of the GoPro with the chips flying at the camera
Fail on a back cut but tree on ground nothing & no one hurt. Win
Nothing beats the joy of grafting away in the freezing rain while the customer sits by the window with a steaming cup of tea, enjoying the show. I'm much more motivated to go the extra mile when they treat me is well like in your video! .
Enjoyed the video. Neat tree to do. No problem with speedlining....good control at end of rope. If you feel confident in a technique and you plan it out should be no problem...JMHO.
Thanks 👍
Good stuff as usual! Hardly ever get anything offered here in Norway! Sadly just not part of the culture here.
Sad
That was really cool
100% this. For a laugh I keep a mental graph of the "wealth" of an area compared to the hospitality offered by the customer. I have more of my own water and coffee left at the end of the day when working in "less wealthy" areas. It's not always the case though, but it's a great day / week when you get a good customer and you're 100% bang on about feeling like you're at your grandparents.
Love this video! Nice to see you guys taking a break. HBD Casey 🥳
Hey Q save me a piece of that delicious cake ps happy birthday Casey 🎉🎉🎉
Tradie advert! Keep em coming.
Always!
Great crew there.
👍
Man, that cake looked good. Happy b-day, casey
what for you keep replaying the video bit where you took that one piece of cake? :) good onya boys, always nice to be looked after, and celebrate with mates!
I felt sick later on! Too much cake
Nice working atmosphere.😊
Ahaha well said mate 🤙
Slick, bro
Another real style video, nice one. Quick question, what online arb stores are good in Australia? I’ll hopefully be in WA does that make a difference as the country is so dam big?
Ha, yeah just postage$ there's a few I use here, LRV8, Arbormaster, honey bros have something here... I've had trouble with massive wait times and low comms with Tree gear.
@@Jackofalltrees thanks just had a look and I feel like I’ve been spoiled by honey brothers over here as their website has virtually everything at a mostly competitive prices. Always delivered quick (in my experience) because uk is so tiny! My luggage is going to be climbing/work gear, one pair of shorts, one t shirt and thongs, which I think is how you say flip flops!
Beautiful demonstration…. On how to nail your steel wedge. 😂🤣😂😂 just teasing. Shit happens. Love the videos guys. Keep them coming!
That rigging set up is sick!
That worked well 👌
Thanks 👍
I don't have any issues with you using the winch as a speed line anchor. I really cant see the issue. People pull trees over with their chipper winch, that is a lot more high risk if you don't trust it!
It's also an operator factor. If he pulls too hard then it can snap the top out
Am I able to use these knots 🪢 for fishing 🎣
Yes, absolutely
Thanks Jack and Q appreciate it. Another awesome video.
Great job
Cheers
Nice work guys.
Thanks!
Great work! A lot of biomass in that dismantle.
Cheers mate
I think it was a fantastic idea and worked beautifully. My ONLY sketch feel was winching on your tie in spar. Never know when someone spilled some soda on the winch control remote and a button sticks or a comtactor sticks open. Still rare. Other than that i'd do it in a heartbeat as long as I was with a trustworthy groundcrew
Yeah, can't take risks like that all the time
If it works for you . Why not do it
First time I’ve seen the speed line used as a pull line too, then converted to span rig branches. A minus cause of the winch not safe for the winch when it gets slammed.
Awesome video as always mate. Love when you explain what you're doing and why. Not sure about the music though. Stay safe
Noted!
Good video but lose the music.
Noted
Great video bud. I’m an arborist in the UK hoping to do some work in auz next year. Where about in auz do you work/ where would you recommend going Cheers pal
Any particular state?
@@Jackofalltrees haven’t really got anywhere specific in mind. I’ve had Melbourne recommend by a friend but he wasn’t doing tree work whilst out there
Melbourne is good. A mix of hot and cold, and close to some of the biggest trees in AUS!
@@Jackofalltrees wicked cheers mate 🤙
haha. This is dope
Good stuff keep em coming 🍻
Thanks, will do!
You have a KZread channel but no youtube APP on your phone😀, good on you mate. Nice job.
I have it back now... Just need to keep it in check from time to time
@@Jackofalltrees l watch tree climbing videos almost everyday on KZread. Learn a lot & Plus learning from Tafe , both of them are very informative. I am just watching your other videos, lots of fun. Just keep it up and climb safe.😊
Do you ever use some sort of a sealing agent on a bigger cut? I have a vague memory that that was "the done thing" when i was a kid if you took big branches off a tree (back in the 70's)
Whoa! I wasn't even born then! It's not done anymore, you'd have to talk to a more educated arborist as to the exact reasons why, maybe it increases the chance of decay?
@@Jackofalltrees cheers young fella ;)
Can't tell you how refreshing it is to see another Aussie arborist tackle some slippery Eucalyptus trees! I envy all the yanks climbing up these straight up and down Douglas Firs 24/7 🤣 Nice vid mate
🤣true... And those vids of removals with giant drop zones!
@livebythesaw450 I could not agree more! I reckon us aussie lads climb twice as hard up these big Eucs or Corymbia trees.
@@Jackofalltrees Haha, every other video the Yanks have nothing to bloody hit.
@@ArcaneArborWolfe 100% man. Eucs make a man of you that;s for sure. I honestly believe Aussie arborists have it the hardest in terms of trees
Nice one mate, I run the Knut Prusik on my lanyard. It rarely binds up, you should give it a try.
Thanks for the tip
Awesome vid
Cheers mate
Keep the videos coming, intriguing viewing!!! totally hooked!!! killer video. 🌴🌳🪚🪚
ever had kick back to the balls
...ummm, no
Awesome job. Learning a lot from your videos. Can't wait to see what comes in the future
Awesome, thank you!
Great tips. Thanks.
That was a good video Jack
So good!
Great job boys best video so far. This is the one I’ve been waiting for. Always struggled to sharpen my chain. I can always refer back to this video. Thanks. Really appreciate it. Very in-depth.
Thanks 👍
you are so by the book man hahaha do you ever come out bush.... ?? :P
Out bush? Nah, used to do a lot of hazard trees in the Vic Alps, but it's all private work now
best sharpening video i have seen!
