World Of Retro Gaming - WORG
I appreciate your visit to this channel...
I aim to upload at least 3 videos per week on retro video games, Amiga, C64, Atari, Sega, Arcade....
This channel features a wide variety of genres :
- Evolution & History of Video Games!
- Versions Comparisons of Retro Games !
- FullSet Project - Computers and Consoles Games !
The best place where you can discover many different ports of the same game and the fullset games for each machine.
Producing up to three videos a week takes a lot of time from my already busy "real life" work days. I do love making these videos but a little support is much appreciated.

Meaningless milestone barely worthy of mention:

Believe it or not, this is one of the best Atari ST racing games.
surprised the sega megadrive version is so different from the amiga version, i would have assumed there wouldnt be much between them except for maybe the sound.
Seems similar to deliverance and magic pockets just different sprites.
Love SNES Version
Just discovering this video now. I'm quite amazed Xenon 2 had so much different version. I love the CD-TV and the Archimedes versions. This game would deserve an enhanced version on A1200 and CD32 as well :)
I played it on Gameboy and even in this comparison in my opinion it is the best version. Not in graphics, but in soundtrack and controls/feeling
When was it released on PC? 1989?
Shogo was the first FPS I've played in my life! How nostalgic! I liked the cyberpunk + anime aesthetic of the game.
The NES version looks incredible for a NES game! Good presentation, graphics, sprite animation and frame rate.
The SNES version is the only one that has the total presentation.
Für mich bleibt es eine Ananas, keine Erdbeere! 😃
mmm SNES is different version witch nice backgrounds.
The best part of this game are the Sega Mega CD FMVs! 😁
WHIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIn WHOOOOOOOOOOOON WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN !!!!! Des pures souvenir ce jeux
The SNES deserved better than an unfinished prototype with blown out overly bright colours that lose all the atmosphere of the original. You can see it still had potential, but it ended up as nothing really.

IMUSE it's great
Jag win
I like the MSX2 version more

The original Amiga and MS-DOS versions are the best!
It's weird seeing the Amiga version be the best version in a video game comparison vid. Though, I think the backgrounds are a little too distracting. The SNES/Genesis version seems to have better background usage. But the Amiga (and especially the Amiga CD32) version looks cleaner and sounds better.
The c64 version is the best by far.
14:45 would be nice an MD+ version for the Sega Genesis with the Mega SD with that Roland MT-32 sound module version
The CD sound of the FM Towns and The PC Engine Super CD-Rom is fantastic. The sid sound of the C64 version makes also fun.
The poor old Atari ST. For a machine that had a built in MIDI port, sound and especially music was not it’s strong suit.
Didn't know about so many versions. Of course Amiga version beats them all for me. I finished this game so many times just for music, but gameplay is fun as well :). Was interesting to see some differences in main character, that for some versions there is diagonal (or multi-directional, hard to say if both directions at the same time) scrolling or that you have to shoot in the head of the first mini-boss in the first level for SNES, while on Amiga you have to shoot the body. Glad at least they didn't do that 3d dimensional parallax effect with opposite scrolling for the Amiga version. I guess this could be fixed easily in other versions as well.
Atari Jaguar wins.
Couldn’t they afford the license to use Bomb the Bass soundtrack?
I thought the music from the flash game was exclusive to it. I had no idea the Java Mobile version used it too.
AMIGA 500 FTW!
Wait why is the MSX2 version’s title screen music a remix of the Mario 1 level music?
For me, the best intro music was in the Amiga version, and close to that was the Sharp X68000, didn't like CDTV intro music... for the Atari, there was the STe version, which had the game soundtrack as the Amiga version (and in-game music).
For home consoles, any version is acceptable compared to the downright dogshit SNES version.
3DO and Jaguar. Why are they looks so bad?
The gameboy music is surprisingly competent!
I've always been curious how the scaling effect on the title screen was achieved. It seems like an awful lot of memory space to save each frame and it looks real time. I was disappointed the game itself didn't include similar effects and I always got the feeling Bitmap Bros handicapped their releases on the Amiga to make ST ports easier. They were never as smooth as Psygnosis releases and the palette often seemed to be 16 colors. Great mix of Megablast tho.
This is a really good example of how much more capable SNES was than Genesis, I guess the Genesis marketing was all a lie
Well obviously Amiga.
Worst game ever devised IMHO.
Atari only at 30fps?
Amiga wins by the looks and Commodore wins by sound, especially music.
Enigma... Phenomenon, nuff said
Hah, someone has nice taste in music: the mod/s3m track "Enigma" followed by the Turrican 2 theme for the intro.
Best 16bit Graphics - SNES Best 16bit Audio - Megadrive Best Graphics - Saturn Best Game Speed - PlayStation Terrible version for Gameboy!!!
What hardware is used for PC DOS here?
MS-DOS has higher resolution and 70Hz scrolling. Same "tracker" music as Amiga. In this video the sound quality is very poor (also mono track). I think that there is something wrong in the game settings/emulator settings.
Kids At Da Base MENT
So it took the Dreamcast more than 10 years after its release to have a truly Arcade perfect home port of a super scalier Arcade game! Damn!
I grew up with an Amiga, so i biasedly pick that version as *my* personal preference. I've played the Genesis/Mega Drive, SNES, PC and XBox Game Pass versions, and while i was happily impressed with the choice between old school and redux sounds on the XBox version, in my heart of hearts I'll always prefer the Amiga.
