This is the last video from this trip in western norway, I decided I will not upload the remaining footage (Driving back to Stavanger) as I had some issues with my recording gear after this point due to weather related issues. combined with nothing but bad weather footage remaining. it would require a lot of editing work to make it up to the quality of footage that I want to share with you. i am sorry for this and hope to be back in this part of Norway in the future. What I am working on now is A few 2-5 hour long videos from previous trips in norway. and after I will have footage to share from my driving adventures in Croatia!
I somewhat missed this video from your trip to Switzerland, I am happy to have found it, beautiful scenery in the mountains and around the lake, thanks for sharing, greetings from a road-tripper from Germany!

Norway is a country that is very similar to the United States, and there are many American cars (example: Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevrolet Suburban, etc.) because I have found out that many Norwegians went to emigrate to the United States in the past and when they returned they brought their cars from On the way back, apart from that there is a lot of vehicle import, I think, one day I hope I can visit this beautiful and green country, its houses are beautiful, God bless you. greetings from Spain.
I do hope you get the chance to visit Norway someday, it's a beautiful place to visit and just drive around in! even when it rains
❤❤
This road is fv4224. Fv500 runs between Mauranger and Ranavik ferry terminal on the east side of the Hardanger fjord.
@@Gazer75 correct that part of the Fv500 road is also designated as the Fv4224 however The road from mauranger to Ranavik is also designated as road 500 it seems. According to all the information I have available at least They both are. However one is in Rogaland and other in Vestland. So might just be same numbered road just different province. "Fv"means province road after all when translated to English. Confusing for sure. but that does not change that the road in this video is the fv500 in Rogaland.
@@LurksWorld It has not been numbered 500 since end of 2019 I believe. Fv is basically "fylkesvei" or county road. Before the numbering reform each county had its own numbering, so you could have multiple county roads with the same number around Norway. The change basically renumbered all the very old county roads so they got four digits, these are not signed. The roads with white number plates in signs also had to be renumbered in some places to be unique across the country. Those were actually national roads before 2010, but got transferred. These days only roads with green number signs are considered national roads. This includes E routes. If you look on Openstreetmap you'll see in the normal map display that the four digit roads will be yellow and the 2-3 digit county roads are orange. National roads will be red.
Merci pour ces sublimes paysages ... surtout sur les petites routes ... et pour cette belle cascade.
I've never seen Roundabouts in a tunnel and a suspension bridge between two tunnels. And that Vallavic tunnel was one of the longest ive seen other that in China and the Chunnel.
It's very unique to see roundabouts in tunnels indeed! I have only encountered them i Norway so far
That was a long drive in harrowing conditions. When I found where you were heading on Google Earth, I got excited to see where you go next. Thanks for sharing.
Hey i might skip a little bit as i had some issues with my camera and microphone after all this rain, but i got more footage to share for sure!

Hello @LurksWorld did you take Route 1 from Hofn to Egilsstadir? Or 95? Thanks
Hey, I took Route 1 which is paved all the way route 95 has a few parts unpaved. but should still be fine to drive. From 25:45 to 42:10 you can check out route 1 from Hofn to Egilsstadir. The thumbnail of the video seems to show 95 my bad on that one.
Thanks! Are the last 30-40 kms to Egilsstadir rough on Route 1?
no the road is good, however it can get a bit foggy at times, you can see my drive that part in real time in this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/Zoij1raiprOWn6Q.html

I was here almost at the same time.
Når jeg har vært i Stavanger og skal heim over Tonstad velger jeg enten denne ruta eller å ta av E39 på Helleland. Denne ruta er definitivt favoritten og den er nesten like lang.
this is definitely a great route to take and enjoy the scenery!
