The Vera Frank

I travel, share my experiences, & tell stories too

Hello! Welcome to my Channel. 💃😁❤️

I'm Veronica, also called Vera by a majority vote. 😁

I love adventure, and this fuels my desire to discover and travel to new places. I'm on a mission to see the world, let you see it through my eyes, and also inspire you to want to see it too, starting with your locality. My main goal is to help people see the beauty of the world around them.

When I travel, I'll show you places I visit, and when I'm back home, I'll give you an insight into what my life looks like outside travel. 😁

My channel is basically about my travels & lifestyle. More of travel anyways, as I would love for you to continue seeing the world through my eyes and the amazing stories I share.

Let's enjoy the ride, shall we?

Please subscribe, let's grow this beautiful family together. 😁

Love,
Vee.

Do you guys have translators while traveling? Because i need a translator as an essential due to the language barrier. I hate feeling left out. My go to translator is Immersive translate and i definitely recommend it

It’s actually cheaper to book to Uganda or Rwanda than booking a straight flight to Kenya. All you need to do is have a return ticket.

Right? Although I’m sure the prices may have been increased now since it’s over a year, so it’s best to check the current rates on their website which is linked in the video description. ♥️

Paying rent once a year???? What if you don't have that money at once? What if you decide to relocate in the middle of a year? Are you paid your salary once a year? Anyway, plastic bags are banned in Kenya in totality!

We eat swallow food with hand as our culture is and not with fork. It's a cultural abuse. Do it right. Promote your culture don't downgrade it. I love your work except observation above.

To answer your question: It is a criminal offense to use plastic bags in kenya and is punishable by law and someone could be sent to jail or slapped with a hefty fine. Kenya is an environmentally conscious country and implements circular economy in all areas.

I think most Kenyans are used to paying monthly. Rent in Nairobi is very expensive for you to pay yearly/annually with a deposit. Paying monthly also allows someone to change houses with ease when the need arises.

Generators are not a necessity. We don’t have that issue.

  • @kofig5519
    @kofig55193 ай бұрын

The dollar issue. Due to the open and flexible exchange rate policy, the cedi dollar rates keep changing in a day or all the time. Hoteliers dont want to keep changing rates according to the fluctuations of the day all the time. So they prefer to price in dollars for stability yet you pay in local currency at the rate available the time you are making payment. It is illegal though

Ghana law does not make playing other nation's music illegal unlike Nigeria that has regulations on what percentage of time a radio station can play foreign music. So feel free and enjoy

In Kenya, we value our freedom in the sense that should you want to relocate at any time due to job transfers or upgrading your social status it is easy to move and make plans. We have a culture of not refunding money paid for certain services such as rent. Imagine losing your job and you can no longer maintain your social status, you will easily relocate to cheaper housing.
