Awesome! I have just received mine and tried them out on my black Morgan, but it is winter here in Canada, But after the first two brushes, saw a difference in his fuzzy coat! So waiting for shed out in spring! However, loved the curry and the extra face brush (so did he!). Thank you for this video!

It seeems your camera is tracking your shadow more than your horse. I notice it loses you when the shadow disappears and comes back when your shadow is big again. Anyway, nice vid. Good luck.

Ya, I don't understand the point of a brush for the mane and tail. It would never work on my horses either. Top grooms don't use them either....

Saddle is ok for the cob, not so good for the rider - she is right on the cantle, but her horse can't carry a saddle much longer in the seat than that

Gosh you have a lovely seat and soft hands. And your fur child is relaxed and trusting of you! No reason to feel any unkind remark has merit. I have been riding for 56yrs, 6 countries, 3 continents and 4 disiplines. Now I ride out from my home with one horse in hand and two wolf hybrids on leash as well as in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks by myself sans the hybrids.Well done and thank you for sharing your insights!❤

Thanks for your great review. I got one but haven't used it with my horse successfully yet. I used it playing a game in my yard. I found that I had to leave the "predictive" and "exposure " off because they slowed down the processing so much that the camera couldn't keep up and track me. Also, I must have the pivo and my phone fully charged. The batteries go flat very fast.

Just going to read your blog, bought my first ever Cob in September 2020 (owned horses for over 30 years) and I have no idea about managing feathers! Her mallenders are actually quite bad, so I'm feeling very sorry for her and researching how to manage it :( She came with the feed her previous owners had used, AlfaOil and Stud Mix so I'm really interested in how to feed her (I've been down this road with an insulin resistant pony). She is such a heavy weight cob with 4 white legs, so I have my work cut out! Thank you for the video - really helpful and given me hope :D

Lovely video and thanks for the certrimide tip but isn’t your problem feather mite (Chorioptic Mange). Never heard of what ever it was you called it.
@susanchapman22993 жыл бұрын
It's a centuries old complaint. It's mentioned as early as 1800's. Mallenders is behind the knee in the front legs, Sallanders in the bend at the front of the hock in the hind legs. It's an overproduction of keratin which in turn lays down extra skin (hyperkeratosis.) It is not caused by mites. However M&S and mites can go hand in hand as mites live in and eat the excess skin M&S produces!🙂

Would it work to use cooking oil instead? Or perhaps spraying lots of mane and tail in the bucket? That may be a really stupid question, but was planning on hot clothing tomorrow, and I don't have access to the oil you mention.
