  Just built my 12V VR6 for low boost. Shooting for 300 whp with a gt3582 for my mk2 Jetta. Keep us updated on the engine issue on this build. Hopefully nothing serious.

  You never know what's going to happen on the dyno with a totally fresh build, but we're glad that the engine shop has identified the issue and we should be right back there in a few months time with a freshly-painted MK2! Thanks for tuning in and supporting ❤

  Where have the regular videos been? I’m sure it gets really hard sometimes, especially when you have extremely complex builds and it takes long amount of time to make progress. Which leaves you without much to show for a bit. You guys are killing it though.

  My goal for the channel is a full-length video drop every week (usually Thursdays), with short videos every few days in between. So far, we've done just that for over a year. There is always new content coming in, but not always for the same project if we're waiting for parts or lift space. For example, the S13 240sx is a side project, so updates for that come a little slower. The one thing I can promise, is that full-length vids will continue to be posted on a weekly basis, but those are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get!

Like I said, you guys are killing it though. I’ve mentioned your guys’ company/channel multiple times in comments across several different platforms. You guys build some amazing cars, your channel will take off.

  @@patiencemetalfab some people overthink things a lot lol! Also most have no mechanical knowledge whatsoever and can claim to be great engineers! You want to make things simple as possible for reliability and longevity, actuating off a brake signal would be simple compared to sensors and air speed which would require more complicated components

  Who knows with a car of this age, but it's likely just untouched OE panels with poor rust protection from the factory.

  That's just a standard spot-weld drill bit; definitely handy to have if you plan on pulling any panels apart!

  Seen this on a BMW Mseries last week on the highway! Street cars have come so far as most are actually race cars and not daily driving economy rides as they once were made for! But at least I was alive to see the last of the true cars with actual horsepower making combustion engines

  The beginning of this song is actually perfect for the challenges you face with older cars. Sucks living in the Rust Belt where this kind of surgery is inevitable. Man, I wish I wouldn't feel so guilty if I just left all my friends and family behind to move southwesterly to escape winter chills and the rot caused by the road salts and sands. Seriously, you guys out in TX, AZ, NV, NM, etc., please don't take it for granted. Not including CA because it just needs to fuck off and fall onto the Pacific Ocean already.

  Haha, I think we've all had that dream, thankfully a lot of our customers will source their projects from the south and ship them up to our shop. Even these aren't perfect, it's getting harder and harder to find straight classics without serious damage or subpar work done in the past. It's also cool to start seeing chassis' like this S13 get some serious money put into them with fabrication/restoration!

  Nothing will ever make a 240 worth this amount of work, the 240 hype is as dumb as Honda Accord hype, a nissan hardbody has same engine and had same 120 mph cutoff as the 240..😂 Put time and money into something that will gain in value.

  You're probably right, a build like this will never MAKE you money, but that's true of at least half the cars that come through here, even the USDM classics. For a lot of our customers, the sentimental value of the car is more important that the eventual resale.
