Briefly met him in Butlins Ayr when I worked there in 1987.He was performing there that particular evening . Said hello to him but he just blanked me . I was only 18 at the time. I've never forgotten how disappointed I felt and still feel to this day when I remember it . All he needed to say was hello or at least nod . It would have made my day!

Why do you think Barry's still alive? Because she kept him away from drugs, alcohol and women. She gave Barry a happy family life. These are not my ideas, Barry always says this.
