This channel will be based on my experiences as a technician. I'm a HVAC-R tech who also works on Restaurant cooking equipment (aka hot side), some plumbing and some electrical. I'm the guy who trains all the new employees. I decided to start a channel to post helpful tips, tricks and guides for them to reference if they get stuck on a job or want to prep for an up coming job. These are "real life" videos, not that fluff that manufacturers show when they are testing new equipment in a clean environment...
Please, if you are not a service contractor/technician, do not attempt what you're about to see. We have training, licenses and insurance to cover ourselves in any event, keep that in mind.
If you appreciate my videos, you can show your thanks by hitting the link button and subscribing/following.

This is not the case in every brand contactor. In the new ones I have, there is no way to convert it like you did. You should have said YMMV to be more accurate.
How much should this job cost ?
Did he say he had to jump off a binswitch to another binswitch?
Okay so I have a client that had a small grease fire in the kitchen and the ansul and sprinklers went off and one of their breakers won’t turn back on, guessing it’s a shunt? They have a weird frame covering the dead front, I have dealt with Siemens load centers a million times but I literally can’t figure out how to get inside the panel
Good job 👍
thank you for no annoying music. I hope your channel does well
Why not just rub the marker on it?
If it works for you then that's also a good way. I personally have better control over my finger with some marker on it than I do the marker itself. If you get too much marker on it, then you may have lost the ability to see the raised numbers and letters. It can blend in. Practice using the marker on a part that doesn't have useful info, if that's your preferred method.
Now that's a winner of an idea!
The bushing got a grub screw holding it onto shaft?
How do you get a Retrofit kit for going from the lens to flame rod?
Brother I can’t even figure out how to get the fucking blower compartment open the latches don’t do shit
Ya that design sucks. Always issues with freezeups
Thank you for a good video :) Few questions, my pump is leaking from the shaft seal. What is the correct size of the seal and how do you remove the old seal and put new one in? Also, at the same time the o ring to the back cover should be changed. Do you know what size is the back cover o ring? One more, the pump motor is seized, it 's full of hardened grease. How does one remove the pump motor? The electric connections?
Damn 77💀💀💀
Love the energy man🔥😂
Are you using a standard cat 5 or cat 6 cable between the vfd and screen?
Cat 5 and cat 6 are the same other than a cat 6 is made in a way to be more resistant to interference. So you can use either. The one I used in the video of cat 5 though
Ok perfect! Thank you for your response because I lost the little connector it comes with and didn't know if that was a priority connection.
I didn't know what direction the air was moving just from the video but "some guy just replaced a thermostat and it isn't working now" usually means "the thermostat was not installed correctly". That and the bulb seemed out of place.
Are you checking micro amps for flame rect?
Hey sir I have a issue with the same fryer but only 2 tanks. How ever it keeps making a loud popping noise. I changed out blower motor and relay as well. What else can it be ??? Pls help
Check your gas pressure

At first I was skeptical reverse wiring the polarity of the motor. After trying to get the backside of the impeller motor off (with no avail). To spin the shaft, we decided to have staff empty the vatts so we could undertake the nasty job of pulling the motor. We ran across your video and said-what the hell, we will give this a whirl as the wires were accessible through the access panel on the front of the motor. After reversing the wires and a few quick on-offs! Viola!!!! The impeller freed up and we are back in business! Thank you so much for posting this detailed video.
Forced draft
As a new hvac/r tech thanks my dude
Thank you, got this unit working after watching this ! 🙏
Thanks for the help! Do you know what kind of power opens the combination valve?
keep a empty bottle in your bag😂.
Bet unit is more problematic now tho
Just want to express my gratitude for this video that you put up. Had to replace the gearbox assembly last Friday, and I've never done one before. Thanks to this video i was able to swap it out and get it running again. Once again, thank you.

Hi ,I shut off my water for my restaurant for couple days ,after the ice o matic ice machine no water come in the reservoir , please help for!!
The sound effect was flawless.
Your comment made my extra editing worth it!
I found I had a problem with my gas line! That could be an issue too.
Great video sir, please give more details about this captive air unit.
Great video! I was wondering if you can help me out. I am trying to run power to this unit. My unit is a 208 3-phase. The unit specs that I run 3 hot wires (black) 1 neutral (white) and 1 ground (Green). Max amps is 15 so I am going to run a 3 pull 15 breaker. My unit has an added option of DCV-SF1 that requires a red wire to be hooked up also. My question is where does this red wire go? The black, white and green wires go back to the panel and are hooked onto the breaker. What am I supposed to do with the red wire? Does it go to the hood control unit. What even is a DCV-SF1 ?? Thanks!
I won't be able to answer your question fully since I'm not the manufacturer and this is a new install. The DCV should be a remote display that you use to toggle on and off the equipment. To use or bypass that remote should be in the wiring diagram. There are a few variations and I don't feel comfortable giving advice on an install that isn't under our company's license and insurance. You will need to get ahold of the manufacturer
Talkin about a bit below beer can cold
Dzięki za film, ale ten agregat wygląda jak by ktoś w garażu to składał. Jak można coś takiego komukolwiek sprzedawać.
Very detailed video ! Im a tech i work on restaurants and dont get too much experience with MUA units and this explained em very good. Thank you and i look forward to your videos. Are you located in the state of michigan?
Yes, I work in michigan. I have an updated video on make up air as well
Good fun with excellent knowhow thanks
Perfect thank you fof this superb tutorial which is very helpful.
My N word ✊🏻 Thanks for the lesson.
I didn’t know the controller packs were no longer available. Nice that you can retrofit new traulsen stuff I retrofit dixell controllers though, the traulsen stuff is expensive
Standoffs😊
Don’t forget to check the incoming gas pressure too
