    Not sure what year this was recorded, but it sounds like it was most likely before Mothers Against Drunk Driving started. So I guess you could say it's ahead of its time!

    hate to hear he passed away...i was planning on making a trip to the opry to see him before he got to where he couldn't play...a great voice for sure...he did send me an autographed record a few years ago

    Not bad. This recording could have used some reverb and a softer accompaniment so it wasn't so harsh. A Piano lead would have been a better choice.
