I did this song in my high school choir as a tenor, the end has been stuck in my head for such a long time. I love this song so much, you all did great!!!
good voices. sounds messy
Omg my choir is singing this and by far this is my new fav song! I’ve been looking for it everywhere but can’t find it, thanks so much!
Dope
I love this arrangement! Brings back so many memories!
I view this every year with my grandchildren at Christmas. Beautiful choir and beautiful Church.
Singing this from memory 12/2/23 soprano. Awesome recording.
I love this Christmas song. The radio stations who play Christmas music after Thanksgiving never plays songs like this.
Agreed; or other songs like Wexford Carol, Coventry Carol, Sussex Carol, In the Bleak Midwinter, and much more. All of Rutter Christmas anthems. NONE of that on commercial stations. It used to be that regular stations played Christmas pop music but then as Christmas approached it got more religious.
Absolutely beautiful 🙏
this what the middle schoolers in my grade are singing too its so greattt
I’m singing this in choir and I’m trying out for a solo
Performing this song for my highschool this year, so far we've only spent three days on it and we've already got most of it down! Such a beautiful song 💛

I heard a choir perform this song and needed to hear that version again. It suits it so well. Thank you for taking me back to that magical moment!
Amazing rendition! Thank you so much for performing and sharing.

I want to dawn my breastplate and wage a ruthless crusade but it's a hymn to praise god
Same tune is used in Fred Pratt Green's "Long Ago, Prophets Knew". For those interested.
Catholic morals are clear that a woman should not appear in Church with bare shoulders.

@UCbjOUeZp5zmkGEQhO5mUgnA I really like how some members got to switch between their part & the lead vocal part.
Why didn't you have the flute solo : (
This song is from a school choir
Fine job kids. Takes a lot of courage for some kids to do that. I really appreciate y'all singing a song that really tells the beautiful story of the birth of our Savior. I am 52 now. Young people the Lord will bless you for performing that
Sounds wonderful, congratulations! :)

Beautifully done.
