What about the power-pack just behind and below right arm?

This is cool with the electronics but I would want an exact replica of the original where a guy could get inside and it still did stuff. The warning about the bubblehead raising too high and breaking will be a problem. Nobody reads/watches the instructions and kids who see it will run to it and play with the controls.

There was never a viper cockpit video game. Why? Not the slug thrower newer remake. Scanners super imposed with 3D ships in a star field. Would have been so cool.

For the arms, it seems like an easier method for installation would have been some type of twist and lock method. A metal ring in the arm hole, with keyed notches, that match a plate on the arms. Fit each arm into place, and then turn them 90 degrees to lock them into place.

Where is the voltage generator for it's claws? The robot must protect us against unwelcome visitors otherwise known as door to door salesmen.

I would have liked to have seen the original robot from the late 60s before the invention of the C.D player and Bluetooth it would have been either quite simple electronics or difficult with old school valves and a tape player.

Excellent rendition. Although the original had a more matte finish (prevents reflections from studio lights) the gloss on this one is like a car finish. Not bad.

I thought entering 0121, 0800 and so on would be enough for all times from 0000-1259 for midnight-12:59pm and 1300-2359 for 1:00pm-11:59pm. Enter the time as 24h clock and it would appear as 12h with the proper meridians on the display ie: to enter my birth date, provided the DeLorean was in Scotland you'd Enter 04 10 1980 2006 which of course would be April 10, 1980 08:06pm or where I am now in the U.S. for now 12 01 2022 2223 or December 01 2022 10:23pm

It's a wonder, but, yes, why is the bubble extender too long? You shouldn't be able to accidentally destroy the head. That's a serious design flaw.

I was 10 yrs old when Lost In Space aired for the first time. Irwin Allen created some great shows. Robot (B9) was way more believable tech than Robby the robot. The bubble extension issue can be fixed using a micro switch to kill the up power.

There are only two plugs one with four connections and ..wait five connections and one with 5 no 6 connections no wait I mean 5 no …. six connections, yes six connections and this is plug number four ..., I mean 5 .. no six and the third plug I mean second plug has 5 ... no four ... yes 4 connections. Who is this guy? I guess he never heard of making a script and then testing it so that the plugs and the rest of the video is not so screwed up. This was really funny to watch.

As a kid, I was fascinated by one tiny detail on B9: the winch-points on his shoulders! Those two silly little bits of metal had me dreaming of the day they'd attach cables and lower him into a cave... Alas, nothing is every attached to those little straps.
