Asha Nayaswami

Explore the spiritual life with Asha Nayaswami

With warmth and wisdom, Asha helps us see how spiritual teaching can be woven into daily, ordinary life. She offers practical, real-life examples to guide us, encouragement, and support for the journey of life. Her teachings are non-sectarian - sharing the truths that unite the great religions; her Sunday Services are based on texts from both the Bible and the Bhagavad Gita.

This teaching was brought to America in the 1920s by Paramhansa Yogananda, author of the spiritual classic, "Autobiography of a Yogi," and continued by his disciple Swami Kriyananda, founder of Ananda. Asha served as Swami Kriyananda's personal secretary for many years. She is one of Ananda's most experienced and popular teachers, offering life-transforming insights into the spiritual life to seekers around the world.

I agree with you the time I stopped blaming others and expecting anything from them my life changed completely. All the time I ask my self how can I help those around me without expecting any reward.

I find it hard it hard to believe that me being molested at 8 months of age was my karma and being brutally gang raped at 15 by 5 men - so badly that I became sterile- was my karma.

What about Google claiming they aim to Resequencing human behaviour? What about the karma of transhumanists? They've been on their successful road since the ww2.

“You have no enemies you only have teachers “ Buddhist Proverb Every challenging situation, no matter how overwhelming is an opportunity for you to grow spiritually . And as I listen to this beautiful soul speak, I am innately aware that which she is saying is the way to peace, but it is very difficult so becoming aware would be the first step and understanding everything she’s describing is an opportunity, though it may not feel that way to really grow .. I think of it as a practice that you have to do every single day and that’s become aware of the way you think about things and that’s a whole other huge topic …🙏 But as we all know from our experiences as growing up with our first time experiences, the only way is to practice daily until it becomes second nature 🙏🙏🙂🙂

I honor and respect the God in everyone. I can be unconditionally loving and freely give of that by accepting others as they are without attempting to change them, but that love goes to my Self first. Boundaries are set within for me, not without to control others.
