Devon and Cornwall roads are no joy. Even many A roads are poor. I can share similar experiences driving around rural North Yorkshire. Slow and steady wins the day with lots of observation and forward planning. Something that unfortunately many other road users are totally inept at doing leading to them blundering into situations that they blame us coach drivers for and expect us to fix 🙄

Do like a Plaxtons/ Volvo set up, used to be my favourite combination, gearbox was always a pain, I know you said it was running low on fluid, which doesn’t help, but it was never the easiest box to deal with lol. Great video though, looking forward to the next. Safe travels. 👍
@james14361114 күн бұрын
@andyholland859 absolutely right changing normally you do need to work with it dont you, need to know the speeds of each gear really, it won't let you select it otherwise which makes it difficult when you know you'll need, say, gear 3 but you can't do it unless your close to the speed (35mph or so)

It is, great smell on a warm day! I've not had that yet I think it sort of breaks itself down in the tank, but otherwise we always advise the toilet is for number 1's only!
@littlebigman6957Ай бұрын
@james143611 what James missed out on the video is that a chemical is added directly into the toilet pan and when it mixes with the water any solids are broken down so that they leave the toilet in liquid form. Although not always lol😂. The chemical also helps the toilet smell better. We used to use loo bloo, the same as what caravaners use.

If you'd turned right on entering Lynton, then followed the road out of the town towards Barbrook, you could have turned left comfortably at the junction with the road from Lynmouth without going into Barbrook to turn.

Ah the A39 route from Lynmouth to Barbrook do you mean? Hey James I'm 14 I have a question is coach driving a good pay😊
@james143611Ай бұрын
Depends with who you go with, what you do etc etc, there's no real simple answer to that, some hop around different operators chasing the money, others stick with whatever the pay rate is because they love the job over whatever the pay is. Service coach work like NatEx is high because of the nature of what it is, and there's a stash of their own rules and regs to stick to. London operators I believe are also on decent rates for the London living wage
