I reside in the US, and recently told a lady I know in Frankfurt, "You've got it made over there!" She responded, "Oh, really? Well, open your eyes and ears a bit more, because I'd rather be in YOUR country!" She described things to me quite thoroughly, and I have to say I prefer things here, as expensive and as screwed up as they are in the States!

You have actually forgotten the oldest German fast food chain. The German fast food chain I'm talking about is called Nordsee. It was founded on April 23, 1896, and by 1955, when McDonalds was founded, Nordsee had already grown to 250 locations in germany. So Nordsee is far older than McDonalds.

As an American myself I don’t know where I stand in this issue but it more or less depends on the crime. If it’s a homicide where 20 or more people are killed than they can see the death penalty for that individual who committed the crime but again I don’t know what that would do besides taking one less killer off of the planet it won’t bring the victims back but that’s one where I see that being the sentence someone would get another would be treason, terrorism or desertion from the military although two different arias but those would be where I see having the death penalty issued out other than that life sentence would be the go to but that’s if the perpetrator(s) are found guilty with great accessory

Many Germans have a guilt complex, leading to self hate, and will even assault anyone who doesn't share this delusion. Self-Hate ends when reading the actual history.

Germans have a hard time tasting frozen desserts like ice cream, and seldom like cold iced drinks. Sorry, real German ice cream tastes like cold wax, because Germans can't taste it.

1:15 in south carolina you get electrocuted by default, or shot to death by high powered assault rifles, bottom up 7 ppl , 3 rounds of 3 shots (all 7 shoot for 21 total, only 3 ppl shoot live each round, which is random and selected and only known by duh executioner, mite need a special blank so shooting it feels exactly like a live round) and jus cuz europe dont sell drugs to force an overdose, aint like south Carolina don't have no shit like cyanide and rat poison to start feedin niggas, got lots of waste from old gold mining and shit....., jus cuz europe dont like it don't mean we cant make lethal poisons, Americans do have a fuckin pharmaceutical industry or at least i thought they did why the fuck they buying shit for American legal system from Europe is way fuckkin beyond me....' shit just give em a few hundred micrograms of carfentanil wit a bunch of Flubromazepam and ethanol maybe even some methaqualone (and wen u done killin, u can just take duh methaqualone on its own so you get over all dat killin.....) , that outta be enough injected to make em pass out and wake up dead

Another stereotype would be that they are loud and gesticulating a lot. Working with lots of Italians I most a lot of them have strong voices, but we also have some more quiet people among them. The gesticulating I find fascinating - they can talk completely with their hands and faces without using their voice.

I just washed my first load of laundry in the US and was baffled by the lack of instruction and mostly detail. On my german washing machine I could specify the temparature (in C), and it would tell me how long it takes. In the US I could decide between "cold", "warm " and "hot", with no actual specification of the temperature, and it would just start, leaving me guessing how long it would actually take. Also, I basically have to put everything in the dryer, because there is just no option here for just hanging it to dry, neither outside nor inside, so I'll see how many of my "don't tumble dry" clothes will survive this process -.-

Regarding the loud Americans, I was reading that many Americans wouldn't be that way in the USA. But, when going out the USA would go through a personality change, becoming that way. It's basically because of arrogance.

Fahrenheit is far better. Fahrenheit makes more sense, we don’t live in freezing water or boiling water. I just want to know what the ambient temp is. If it’s 100 degrees Fahrenheit but only 40 Celsius you understand that 100 means HOTTTT
