  Hi. I am sure I am in the process of buying a 2019 Jag XE from someone. I am sure it has the touch pro as it is the bigger screen with no buttons, I spoke to the dealer today asking how much is it to update so I can have the auto- he stated that the model doesnt have that option. Do you know how I can check? Thank you

  @msalih90 hi, as long as it has the pro screen it will have an update.the dealers may have stopped the update to encourage sales of the new models. Double check with your dealer to be sure though, good luck and great car!

  Hello Reevue, I am a Jaguar F-PACE 2017 enthusiast, and I am looking to integrate Apple CarPlay functionality into my infotainment system. My car is equipped with software version S18C_18.37.1-222737, but I do not have Wi-Fi connectivity in the vehicle-only two USB ports and a touchscreen display without physical buttons. I wonder if I can activate CarPlay via the InControl app and the current software version, despite the lack of Wi-Fi and a SIM card. Do you have any tips, advice, or tutorials that could help me resolve this issue? Any assistance from you would be greatly appreciated.   @@Reevueofficial i have 2016 xf with touch pro system. as @rex436 said, the dealer said they could do the upgrade with the risk it may kill the module with the implication of £1000 (his guestimate) cost to me. I said what about a second hand module , and he said they wouldnt do that as it would have to be coded to the car. I also gathered that they will no longer do this update fo free lol. i am going to try and chat to some independant jag specialists.

  My 2019 Jaguar IPace S, screens will not come on. It says no key fob connection. Tried both keys but vehicle screen will not come on nor start up. Tried jumping the 12 volt battery. Nothing. Anyone had this experience?

  Could have missed an over the air update. This can be down to the 12v battery also? I would take it to a dealer to get diagnosed.

  You didn't need to have the bigger screen. The car just had to be 2016 onwards .

  At least when you unlock the engine stays on, with the new Jaguars (MY2024) when you open the tailgate or open a door it automatically cuts the engine off.

  No dealer wants to update my 10" system because they say it will break the module with a huge cost to replace it. It's a pity as i wanted Carplay.

  That seems odd 🤔 I have seen many updates that can take the download. Not heard this before. A few people i know opted for a device that hid in the glove box that allowed them to have apple car play, was £80 couple years ago, however it was after market. Try specialists rather than main dealer, Good luck 👍

  I've seen this before. Normally, the car needs reseting in the dealer/retailer. Once rebooted, it works fine.

  Hi, no you can't, reason is the car is not in gear and also the gear shift does not raise to allow you to put it Into a gear. After 30 minutes it also stops.

  Thanks! Yes they do and android auto, when you connect your phone for Bluetooth it will appear straight away.
