There is no comparison the Rolex is a much better watch and I’ve had the Seiko.
Does the one on amazon come with the dive case?
@@harrys2331 I believe it does but not positive. I believe its sold directly from Citizen Group. Maybe you can ask? Thanks for watching.
Love your content Erik. Another great video. I completely agree on the Explorer. I've had many of them over the years, but never an older vintage one. They are priced really well. I think it's time I pick one up. I'm mainly an Explorer II guy, but there's something magical about the simplicity of the Explorer. It's the blue jeans of the watch world.
@@mikemush9741 Love the Explorer II as well. Yes, simplistic but legendary. Thanks for watching.
Hey men I have same this watch, but have no paper. I checked in rolex watch shop and it's real. How much do you think i can sale it please? Tnx.
@@mussiemichael22michael98 Think they go for about 16-17K. Lucky you as nice watch! Thanks for watching.
@@erikkinginnyc legend tnx very much.
I just got one second hand and sadly it’s been stopping every few days even after wearing for 12 hrs or being fully wound. 😔 not even sure if it’s still under warranty as the card is blank.
@@Crotone79 Thats strange but you should take to a Seiko Repair Center as not much to fix. Thanks for watching.
@@erikkinginnyc going to have someone service it soon because I really love the watch.
@@Crotone79 Tou should. You should know that Seiko Service is usually really cheap by Seiko. Good luck.
How did the 925 lug holes hold up with the steel bracelet? I definitely prefer a bracelet option but a bit worried about the longevity/damage w the softer metal of the watch. Thank you!
@@hyenjaechung Yes, it should be a concern. I only had for a short time and looked great but feared the stainless vs. 925. Actually had a friend that said he bent a lut with a stainless bracelet? Thanks for commenting and for watching.
I got mine a week ago ago n I love it
@@daninofajardo2865 Thats great! Sold mine and really miss it. Beautiful Watch! Thanks for watching.
lol, so rolex told you how many hulks they made? What a 🤡
If you slow down your hand movements in the future we can see the details of the bracelet, clasp, and side of the case easier.
No such thing as modern rare Rolex. Made in the 10s of 1000’s
@@m.e.p.r Agree with you as even 60K isn't a small number for many companies. Thanks for watching.
What an amazing outcome for a beautiful watch. Always a pleasure to see amzwatch work your magic. Thanks for sharing this transformation with us!
I have never been disappointed since I became a customer of MaMaCoo . Their watches are of exceptional quality.
The muppet boiler room watch market is dead 😂.
I have bought a couple of Tag Heuer's from an AD in Amsterdam who also sells Rolex in a different boutique. I was curious how the Rolex system worked. They told the familiar story of being allocated a low number watches per week/month, much lower than their demand is. They basically gave up on waitlisting the more desirable models, since those had waitlists of up to 8 years. If you want an Air King or their gold models, you have a chance. Otherwise it's a no-go.
@@baron_von_noob3117 Yeah, the way it is. Thanks for watching.
I think most know Rolex is run by a holes, top to bottom. BTW anyone can walk into a AD and get a new watch within days, provided one is a celeb, famous jock, or drug dealer, Rolex’ main cliental.
Rolex; the best $1.500 dollar watch you can buy for $14.000 dollars…!!!!😒
Do you think it only costs $400 to manufacture a Rolex? If so, you are CORRECT!
Erik - Love the channel and your delivery. Love the channel and your delivery. I have loved watches and Rolex (even though frustrating to deal with) my entire life. Could you tell me how to get a job with WOS are any other brand? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. BTW - love your content, you seem like your a super cool guy.
@@fbernacke Thanks for the kind words. Its not easy to break into. If you have any retail sales experience it will help along with communicating that you have great watch knowledge and would love a position. Bottom line is that you probably know more than most watch sales people as they really dont eat, breath and sleep watches like many of us. In both instances of being interviewed I walked into the store I liked and asked for the manager and handed them a resume. Good luck as a big disappointment for me as it really is RETAIL and I wasn't impressed.
@@erikkinginnyc I appreciate you getting back to me, Erik. Keep up on the great content.
When it comes to fine imitation watches, MaMaCoo delivers. I've bought from them several times, and I've never been let down.
is bezel made ceramic insert material?

MaMaCoo watch are the best, I say this from experience.
@@MaryDoherty-q6b Dont think the best but damn good. Thanks for watching.
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the MaMaCoo , its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
@@HeinisField Thanks for the kind words and for watching.
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the MaMaCoo 's watches are the most intriguing.
Watches of Switzerland: went into one of their ADs to put myself on a waitlist for a Rolex OP 36mm, gave my details… 5 months later I checked back in only to find they hadn’t added me to the list.
@@cdeaker Sounds like most. They just choke supply.....Thanks for watching.
If you don't create the relationship, contact the sales rep (your AD) and visit the store it's unlikely you'll get a call. I've purchased two Rolex in twelve months. Made an effort to visit and call. Much like a Recruiter for a job, unless an applicant follows up on their resume by phoning a week/month later it is less likely to be considered beyond the first screen. Really applies to your partic situation. You went in to the AD once and then effectively vanished for 5mos. They won't remember you. If you really want a Rolex, make an effort. Or go buy an Omeega or Grande Seiko (sic)
This information makes me like Rolex and their AD network even less. I own an SD 43 and have no interest in adding another Rolex to my collection. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
@@tizombie Couldn't agree more! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Always liked this watch, don't like the current prices. I'd certainly be interested if they remade this model.
@@David-yd6ur Me too - if I could buy at retail! Thanks for watching.
@@erikkinginnyc Indeed. Pleasure.
Rolex... the biggest Scam in the world... meh no!
@@Zonediver Yes, they are - masters of the scam. Thanks for watching.
I don’t agree - why are you calling them a scam? The watches hold value through their strategy of demand outstripping supply. A scam is something like bitcoin where there is nothing tangible in place to talk about.. people will just pay what they think it’s worth.
36 is too small for me and the cyclops is … weird

@@erikkinginnyc thanks. It’s 10K for a used which I can afford but I chose not too. I’ll wait until prices drop but thank you
Do you think Rolex are literally winding down their AD Network? Reducing sales through them, to make a transition to another business model? Or... Do you think Rolex are throttling supply to clear out the pre-owned inventory and ride any post-pandemic surge. When these new Rolex factories start production... do you think it'll go to online sales?
With Rolex buying Bucherer, I believe they will get rid of their ads and go direct to consumer. Now that they own Bucherer who knows how to open retail stores, I think they will be opening more up. I believe they will also start selling online. Especially with the younger generations that are used to buying everything online. Now you can order a car directly to your house without test driving it. That's what they are doing and used to.
@@JustMeTalking Rolex bought Tourneau/Bucherer so no doubt they will give preferential treatment to their stores. Getting crazier and crazier! Thanks for watching.
Although it is not limited production however, Rolex never made 60 thousands Hulks per year not even 10% of the stated figure
@@majedalessa8376 Here is a pretty reliable source: www.luxurybazaar.com/grey-market/rolex-hulk/ Over a 10 year period 1.5 million Subs are made compared to 60K over the same 10 year period. We can agree to disagree but they simply are not high horology watches and 60K is still a lot. Thanks for commenting and for watching as much appreciated.
@erikkinginnyc this is pure speculation by a grey dealer and not a reliabile info and can be easily contradicted
Butt ugly watch. Hideous. That green...🤮
Is the date magnification lower on the hulk compared to the sub? In the video it looks less magnified than my sub.

How come the numbers on the bezel lume?? I’ve seen this model before it doesn’t have the same….

I owned an original Captain Willard back in the 1970's . No watchmaker could make that damn thing keep accurate time. Fast forward several decades and Seiko still can't make an accurate watch. Ridiculous.

I might really buy one for my BB58. Otherwise, it keeps reminding me this is a cheap ass watch on my wrist. Even a $60 Seiko has better bracelet than Tudor.

To me personally, the better watch to comapare to the seiko marine master would be the orient star diver. Simliar in size. An a more modern watch of orients evolutuon an technology since the OSD. Not much has changed i know. But, the osd, is a much older watch. The stsr diver is one of orients master pieces. Pertaining to dive watches. Excellent movement, which is decorated. Better size at 43 mm. Perfect dial design. An better case design. The osd cost that much because its discontinued.
