I grew up just a few blocks from the Whopper Burger and the Laundromat. I made the deal to buy my first racing motorcycle from my cousin while sitting in that same booth. My friend had the job of cleaning the lint out of the dryer vents on Sundays. I helped him a few times. 🙂

So, what I heard about that asylum in San Antonio is that police use it occasionally to train officers/SWAT on clearing rooms. Its not advised to explore it under most circumstances so take extreme precaution if you decide to do so

Once the Guadalupe river Authority continues to drain Canyon Lake to the bottom riverbed there will never be a return of Canyon Lake which gives reason for residents to think about putting their properties up for sale Now to get all they can, instead of waiting....

St Johns, I lived there in the 1990s. A milestone in my life. The building missing its walls was the classrooms. The area with graffiti, the door went to the nursing area. We played ping pong in the wide open area. The main building was the door... the showers were downstairs and the dorm areas were on the top two floor. In the church, I and a few peers started a band, per encouragement from the Patricians, and we would played a few nights in the alter area. Learned to play Tejano on that alter. When I picked up the book, Anselm's Proslogion, the man said, "Just read it and let it sink in."

West Memphis, Arkansas: one of the most run-down, creepy, and dangerous places to be. If you’re driving on I-40, I suggest having a full tank of gas so you don’t have to stop anywhere nearby, and that includes the crime-ridden city of Memphis, TN. Just keep driving.

In the five or so years since this was posted, the scene has changed even more. The barrier at the beginning has now collapsed and looks like it hasn't been maintained. The woods have been largely cut down and now there's just some vegetation growth that covers both banks of the creek. Really the only thing still left that you can use to identify where you are is the pipe bridge, otherwise it would be difficult to discern where the bodies were found. I've always wondered why West Memphis didn't just raze the whole area and build something over it. While the crime scene doesn't get much traffic anymore, it does still get the occasional passerby or true crime fan so I'm sure that's an annoyance to residents, some of whom don't even remember the crime happened.

PERFECTION!!!
