Charging pre-meds for "consulting." 🤦♂Just further contributing to how inequitable this process is.
Ur beautiful
did you like your undergrad experience at washu? if u were to do it all again would u still choose it? u should do a whole video about ur experience at washu!
Did you not expect to get sunburned? I have a similar skin tone to you, and I never get burned, so when I went to Micronesia, I didn't bring sunscreen. Thankfully, I was warned about a girl from my school who was also overconfident, and got fried for the first time in her life. Best believe I bought some local sunscreen after that. 😛 Are you planning on continuing to learn Samoan? How much were you able to speak?
hahaha, honestly I wasn't expecting the sun to be so much stronger than it is in America. i picked up a bit of conversational Samoan but it's hard to keep up with in America since I don't know many Samoan people here
@@SophiaXuOfficial Same here with Japanese. That's why I'm planning to move there soon. Well, that and many other reasons.
As I am long out of school, and never went through this process, you might as well have been speaking gibberish to me. Nevertheless, I watched to the end, just 'cause I'm excited to see you back on KZread. 😉 Congrats on your scholastic achievements, and pre-congrats on your medical achievements!
thank you so much for sticking around!
No way this looks amazing 🤩 ❤
awesome content once again 👏
Wow this is so cool!
How were you able to find the prompts before hand for the primary? Is it the same question every year? Sorry asking because I have no idea lol.
Yep, same questioin every year!
Was your major premed? Or was it biology or something like that?
psychology!
Thank you for replying. The American medical school system confuses me a lot. In my country, Peru, you simply go to med school for 7 or 8 years and then go on to residency/specialty. Oh and one year of social service at a rural location.
That's awesome. Congrats!
I can't believe you graduated already
Please share ur stats!
coming soon!!
Congrats!
ok. flex.
Nice job. I like a girly-girl doc Doctor! Doctor! Can't you see I'm burning, burning Oh Doctor! Doctor! Is this love I'm feeling? - Thompson Twins
Congratulations 🎉
Congratulations! this is amazing, have fun at Columbia 💙I'll be starting at Wash U in the fall 🐻so excited to be a bear 🥳

@@SophiaXuOfficial thank you! you too!
What cool shark overalls! Where are they from?

Would love a video on how you studied for this! You got an amazing score!

omg you’re backkkkkk
Thank you
I just got my first punch needle kit and chose your tutorial. You had me at “that’s what the patriarchy is for”. You did a great job and now I’m prepared to do my own greatness. Much gratitude
This was crazy easy to understand and follow….. and I’m super old with zero creativity. Thank you!!!
Thank you soooo muchhh
I love your work! ❤❤ Can you please put also a link for the wooden frame?
All the other KZreadrs who tried to teach punch stitching failed to mentioned you need to hold the loop from behind. This is a very important step, otherwise it will not work. You rock! Thank you.
Because you don’t have to if your yarn is the right size
No, you don't have to, just make sure you use the correct punch needle for the correct size of yarn 😊
Hi Sophia, l will be attending the Ervin Scholar Event on Mar 24 as a member of the Class of 2028. Love your vlogs. Hope to meet you in person. Leilani
just got admitted to washu through ed2, excited but the food is so expensive 🙁
I can get my loops close together enough that I can’t see the monks cloth! Any tips
Hi! I just received a call today about finalist status for the Ervin Scholarship and I was wondering if you have any advice in regards to interview/prep?
hi sophia! i just got into Washu EDII and am now waiting on the signature scholarship results! if I could ask, about when did they announce the scholarship decision for you? and if you get selected does this mean you are guaranteed it? I read somewhere that there are finalists who have to attend a weekend at Washu before the committee decides.
This was so helpful thank god for people like you
wait this is so cool! i just got accepted into fall 2024. i'm stoked!
aw ur cute
hiii did washu prep you well for the mcat? Also is it normal to take it this early? I thought people usually take it in Junior year. Also you mentioned pre reqs...but I thought washu wont accept those as ap credits.
hey Sophia...I just got accepted to co28!! Thanks for all ur videos. Please update us on your medical school life as well!!
SHES BACK WOW
Hi, could you tell me a little about med prep and cog neuroscience classes. How are they in terms of difficulty, content, overall experience?
Hi Sophia. I am currently applying to WashU, and I'm struggling to meet my deadline. Please accept my follow request and lemme ask some questions.
Is it only possible for USstudents?
Also for Canadian students and maybe Mexican as well. On their page you can request information and a field you can fill out is your current college/university so you can see if they have an agreement with that particular school. I recommend reading up on it on their own page.
Definitely a kind of tutorial I need, thank you!
Make sure that the needle has the open part facing the direction that you want it to go
they have scholarships for international students ?
You did an awesome job. Not everyone does anything the same! Your rugs are great looking! Ty
