Great video. Just out of curiosity how old are you and what bike do you risde as I am curious about the weight you can comfortably lift up. I turn 62 next month and have NOT rode a bike since I sold my StreetGlide 17 years ago. Now I see the Low Rider ST with that sweet M8 117 inch but still weighs 727 lbs which is heavy but 100 lbs less than StreetGlide. MY first bike was an 883 Sportster, Wide Glide, Softail DeLuxe and finally a StreetGlide. I loved the heavier bikes with the fatter tires. Just felt safer. Now at age 62 trying to lighten the load and God forbid buy a Trike so wondering what you would recommend? Ands yes, new subscriber. Safe travels my friend🙏

Thank you for watching! I’m 51, and I ride a modified 2021 Road King special. It’s all the add-ons I put on it. It’s close to 1000 pounds. I do have to be cautious about the weight, but as long as the bike is moving, it’s effectively weightless. My recommendation would be to rent a bike for a few days from EagleRider and just have fun with it and see what you think. Stay safe.

it's the evolution of the VROD. As a proud owner of an ironhead and an Evo Sportster, calling the new bikes "Sportster" is an affront to Sportsters (and flathead K's) and a marketing blunder. I think I might like the Sportster S if only it had a different name (or at least one side of it)

P.S. 1st 2 shown look like plastic model kits. Wouldn't even consider them at all. Most every bike built today has this appearance. Will not even ride them. No, this substandard manufacturing. I'm like Dale Earnhardt Jr. // If it don't look right, I'm not driving it. His words on an interview & I totally agree with him. Everybody has their standards. The Sportster S sounds just like a Singer Sewing machine at idle.

It's a V Rod wearing a sportserer name. H.D. quit trying to reinvent yourself & just make great bikes you're capable of. No, H.D. is never going to equal a Jap Crotch Rocket. Make those Dynas, the Deluxe/best looking real motorcycle ever/, & Sportsters that we love. Quit screwing around. Plus, H.D., if you made it, you service it, no matter what year it is and where the rider bought it from. That makes a good company awesome. Stop all of the arrogant macho crap. That right there is a sales killer. Great video.

I have to disagree with your opinion on the vrod vs . The new 23 breakout and newer I own both a 2005 vrod and a 23 breakout of course I did some changes to the breakout to a stage 2 with a 516 cam intake exhaust and tune and a bunch of oil system upgrades and I've gotta say it's a really close second to the vrod except for the power I wish it was as violent but another 40 hp and tq and it will be there. the breakout has a few things I wish the old vrod had bigger fuel tank, cruise control, leds, adjustable suspension. what I wish the breakout had was more power and liquid cooling, only one of those things can I change. And if you wanna make the trip to indiana I would have no problem loaning you my breakout for a real ride review if your interested

Great discussion and video. I ride a 23 GSA and love it! No issues so far. Wind protection, all day comfort, tons of power, and good off road. It's an incredibly well balanced bike, low center of gravity, and very nimble for its size. This new one looks like an evolution that riders will accept in time. It's pretty different looking, and kind of growing on me. I'd love to add a Harley bagger to the stable someday. Agreed, it's all about the ride!

The alreadybout and redesigned GS has pretty close to the same wind protection as the 1250GSA. Also has the electric wind screen. Plus the GS also has the Adaptive Ride Height. Difference between the Harley system on the Pan America and the BMW is that the BMW lowers front and rear where the Harley just lowers the rear.

What will happen if Harley-Davidson went out of business, because of a success of a Chinese motorcycle brand? Well I see Xi Jinping as Adolf Hitler when comparing of what Hitler’s hope of copying a car from the Czech Republic known as Tatra and then creates Volkswagen that in German it stands for people’s car and Volkswagen becomes a successful brand for selling a knockoff of a Czech car; to what will happen to CF Moto creates Reminmotochu that is a knockoff of a V-Rod that is a more reliable product that it’s engine is German engineered by Mercedes Benz and it rides smoother than the Harley-Davidson V-Rod, just like the Volkswagen Beetle that is knocked off from the Tatra Model 97 but CF-Moto in Chinese is called the People’s Motorcycle to say it in other words a Mercedes Benz in two wheels, that everybody could afford. That way CF-Moto knocks off other Harley-Davidson models as to let CF-Moto put Harley-Davidson out of business and Xi is happy because of China’s version of it’s Punch Buggy is a very successful MF-Moto motorcycle that is a Mercedes Benz in two wheels as in China it mocks Harley-Davidson in commercials and CF-Moto will outsell Harley worldwide? Where would you see Adolf Hitler in comparison with Xi Jinping that a copy of a Tatra model 97 car from the Czech Republic come out to the successful Volkswagen Beetle towards a Harley-Davidson V-Rod from the US comes out a successful CF-Moto model with lots of quality awards that even Consumer Reports put it into higher standards than Harley-Davidson being cheaper as the result of the creation of the people’s motorcycle. What will happen if Indian will be the only American brand of motorcycle while CF-Moto copies the V-Rod and how do people live without Harley-Davidson?

V-ROD well competition is fierce or to say CF-Moto will be Harley’s nightmare; this will be if Elon Musk wouldn’t buy Harley-Davidson and kills jobs in America and shift production to China. To say Harley-Davidson fierce competition to say also happens to what happens to Tatra Czech Republic and then the Volkswagen Beetle came along and improves the quality of the original Tatra car they imitated, but yet this could also be working with Daimler(aka Mercedes Benz) in developing a V-Rod knockoff to say the motorcycle version of the Volkswagen Beetle to say people’s car but this time the people’s motorcycle. Design cues of affordability and reliability with a smoother ride than the Hyosung Aquila from South Korea to have some certain name probably in Chinese meaning for the people that is cheaper than a V-Rod. Probably it will be called Reminmotochu the CF Moto Reminmotochu as to what it gets from the Volkswagen meaning in German People’s car with the Beetle out of the Tatra but the Reminmotochu out of the V-Rod will be very reliable and more affordable than the V-Rod. Just saying this is where the US government where to ban CF Moto to sell the Reminmotochu in the United States for being a better quality motorcycle than the V-Rod the one that the Chinese copy. Just to say if it where to China’s gain with CF-Moto over Harley-Davidson that what the Chinese do with Reminmotochu over the V-Rod and selling it in the USA without the trade conflicts then CF-Moto will come out and copy other Harley-Davidson models at these economic crisis times and Harley-Davidson goes out of business and Indian will be the only sole American motorcycle company. Yet history repeats itself with what the Germans did in World War II with a car from Tatra to come up with the Volkswagen Beetle to knockoff a Czech car to say Volkswagen means People’s car in German; well then CF-Moto will create the Reminmotochu out of a Harley-Davidson V-Rod with Mercedes Benz technology to make a it a smoother and more reliable than a Harley and put Harley-Davidson out of business. That is for a reason why CF-Moto is Harley’s boogie man yet CF-Moto will work with Mercedes Benz to make a V-Rod knockoff. The same way Volkswagen knockoff Tatra from Czech Republic and creates the Beetle. To say it all the Chinese Punch Buggy is a V-Rod knockoff from CF-Moto.

Well Elon Musk is an asshole for the people that works at Harley-Davidson; he would say to improve the bikes is better off to shift production to China to say that the Chinese are more capable of making quality than the Americans. To say it all if Elon Musk where to take over Harley-Davidson he says if the first digit of your Harley-Davidson starts with an L its’s quality or if it’s starts with 1 it’s garbage. To say L means quality, 1 means garbage to say it all in the lack of a better word Elon Musk is the biggest asshole to own Harley-Davidson. So here the first digits of a VIN to say the country of origin of the bike. Yet 4, and 5 as the first digit of the VIN is garbage too in Elon Musk’s eyes. Then hearing Musk saying that a Harley-Davidson that is made in China has the same quality as a motorcycle that is made in Japan while a Harley-Davidson that is made in the USA is of inferior quality compare to a motorcycle made in Japan. To say the Musk will say an American made Harley-Davidson will not equal the quality of a Japanese made motorcycle only a Chinese made Harley-Davidson could only equal the quality of a Japanese made motorcycle. Yes VIN code details: First digits beginning with 1, 4, and 5 is Made in The USA First digits that begins with the L is made in China. L means quality 1, 4, and 5 means piece of shit. Anyway Consumer Reports will praise Harley-Davidson of having equal quality with their Japanese branded counterparts, but their bikes will not be made in America but imports from China thanks to Elon Musk. As Musk will say shitty workers from Wisconsin and quality workers from China.
