I guess you are talking about spring forces. When the body moves in a particular direction, all spring forces act opposite of it.

Explaination of last part-why resultant force is in the downward direction ::::: because ye isliye hua kyuki hum sir ne moment ki value nikalte time Rsin theta ko counter clockwise direction me liya hai.. Isliye last me R ki value ko neeche dikhaya gya hai jisse ki last me moment nikalte time bhi counter clockwise hi rhe.. Aur agar maan lo ki hum R ko upward dikhate hai usse hum ko moment by R clockwise milega... Thats it from my side thank u..... ❤
