  wtf happened i bought these today and was like wow there's nothing not even remotely tart. when i was a kid they were so tart it would damage the lining of your cheeks and tongue to the point of bleeding if u ate too many in a short period.

  No, it’s not big boi, I remember those❤… The candy is also hot like fireballs… I believe my friend said she got them during travel to another country… it was years ago in my junior high years… I’m 53 now,😊… vaguely remember maybe hot or ice in the candy title on the wrapper but again it was years ago and I only had them the one year during that time and she move and we didn’t keep in contact… if this additional info would help you to help me , I’m glad I shared and if not I’m still glad to share 😊

  You are not supposed to chew Necco wafers you are supposed to let them melt in your mouth and eat one at a time, enjoying the different flavors of each wafer. That's what Necco wafers are all about, not chomping them down. You need to remember candy was a small luxury in the mid 19th century.

  When I was a kid we just chewed the whole bottle with the liquid inside of it. It made the wax taste better. I think we probably ate the wax. I'd never do that now..but as a kid you eat a lot of stuff. Lol
