How awesome! Can't wait to see this! I live near Asheville, NC and have done the Woody Ridge Trail many times...can't begin to imagine the effort involved in what Reid did, just wow! Would love to see your film submitted to the Trail Running Film Fest if you've considered that.

It was a great film!! We caught the premier in Ogden. Reid was incredibly thoughtful and sincere with his remarks after the film. Makes you really root for him more. His feat was quite outstanding! Hopefully the story gets picked up in some film fests. Thanks for watching! Cheers!

I’m so confused…. You guys know there’s a bald Eagle nesting area in Weber canyon. There are hundreds. They nest there. I’m literally so confused… I think I meet the larger dude up at pineview. He would fish from his paddle board while I did my weekly beach cleanup as a volunteer for the forest service. I’m thinking this group doesn’t get out much, because when I met him he was confused as to why I was cleaning up the beach. When I told him I adopted the beach and do it weekly he seemed even more confused. Maybe it’s because I wasn’t posting about it on social.

I can't express strongly enough what an urgent emergency this is for Utah wildlife. This week has been BONKERS for anyone who has ever touched an animal, domestic or wild. State and Federal agencies that would normally help the public get injured wildlife to WRCNU are now recommending people take animals to anyone with any experience, which isn't even legal. As someone who has rescued domestic ducks for 18-years, my phone has been ringing off the hook. I know 5 rescuers of just DUCKS who ALL have wild ducklings now, without appropriate facilities to hold them as they grow. INSANITY. Today I woke to a call of an injured mallard and had to find a veterinarian to euthanize her. $54 cash out of my pocket and 3 hours of my day. It's STUNNING and INFURIATING that anyone would replace this critical public service that Ogden and Northern Utah wildlife rely on.

How do you keep an ET alive after you recover them from a crash site?! I'd hate to be one in captivity being studied by a bunch of lowly humans who are interested in everything from your anatomy to your superior technology. They should have rights like us!!
