    Thanks for the information this was good to stumble upon.my questions now is ,I just graduated with a BS in Bio and I do wanna go to med school,I was considering reserve but I’m new to this officer thing you talked about in your intro,why is it better to be an officer also what’s the commitment because I still definitely don’t wanna be active duty.Also tried to find ur IG no luck

    Great video. I served 2001-2005. My son is considering enlisting now. You’ll have that on your resume forever. I’m an executive in a Fortune 500 and it wouldn’t have happened without what I learned from the USAF. Truly. Keep pushing yourself!

    @@drejones282I was 3COX1 but it changed since then. It was Comsec. To be clear, the job skills have nothing to do with my post military career. The responsibility at a young age, discipline, teamwork etc all were a foundation to motivate me to finish college, work hard, grad school, etc

    Tell her she definitely can do it! I’m such a girly girl and I did it and there were also other girls similar to me!! She definitely can do it just pick a job that fits her personality or that she’s interested in. I regret not doing that.

    Yes i believe they should if you are married but i would contact the VA office to be sure but yes the gi bill and tuition assistance covers graduate degrees :)))

    In tech school yes in basic training you cannot wear lashes at all. You will be able to get your hair done if someone in your dorm knows how to do hair.

    I knew I wanted to join the Airforce the other options I didn’t consider at all. But I chose the reserve over the guard because it’s what best fit my situation at the time and the reserve recruiter answered and helped me faster than with the air national guard.

    Active duty is a full time position so you’re working full time as a military member whereas reserve is you work part time once a weekend a month and two weeks out of the year!! :))

    @@Raniekaa yeah that’s the thing if you’re willing to grind it out then it can definitely be beneficial even if it’s just for a short term contract but I’m thinking about sticking it our for the long haul(retirement) because of the benefits I could receive but 4 years ain’t nothing compared to 20 years lol 😭
