Welcome.
The goal of this channel is to learn more from each other, about modular synth music.
The patches will always be free to download, so everybody can try them, study them and make some suggestions to make it sound better.
In every patch I’ll put here, are some modules or techniques that are new for me, so we can all learn and improve.
I hope you'll enjoy the channel and the patches.

For real! This tutorial is gold! Thank you for going nearly always into detail of all modules. Especially as voltage is the base of everything it was so helpful that you also mentioned the range of voltage a module goes. I really needed this so much 🫶🏻
I am new to vcv but it is so fascinating. Same is your patch! So nice listening to this while working on my computer! Thanks for sharing❤
This is excellent! Would love to see a video on how you did this.
Sounds great my friend in modular, lovely stuff.
Wonderful
🙏🏻🎚️🔊 Can you record a video while you build one of these vcv patches from scratch so we can learn the thought process? Thanks in advance and the ambient sound is awesome!
I'm enjoying this series. On the iPad its called mirack. Same thing
I just started on mirack but it’s often kind of difficult to follow the tutorials as a lot of modules are missing or different. Do you use mirack and also experienced that. How do you deal with this then?
Oh my god 💔
Love it!!
Aleatoric Music 2.0! the story never stops
That trigger sequencer thing doest work for me... it makes lots of high pitch squeals and when you press run it makes bleeps and bloops out of the kick module. I had to use another seq-3 in it's place
downloaded the patch... but i wish i new how to make it make the sounds
This is a lovely patch network 🎉 great job. I had it on headphones over a huge rain storm 😊
so many cablese what a nightmare
How intense is something like this on your CPU ? Great work this sounds nuts.
sometimes more than 600% cpu on my system ... lots of sound glitches.
very nice patch, enjoying listening to the whole thing while doing other work.
my most absolut respect to your summoning ø
Love it!
Hi! Thank you for your help with these three videos... They were very informative. I suggest you continue this type of content sometimes!
Very cool, I really liked this tutorial... It helped me to understand VCV Rack even better. Congratulations!
Missed the fade in/out option, rudimentary filtering, and gain adjustment features of that mixer. (They're a bit hidden by having to right-click on the slider labels, but they work nice.) Also ability to do some grouping too, which can come in handy for stuff like separating percussion or other sections of related sounds and bringing their volume up or down together. Covered every thing else pretty well on it though.
Amazing! Is this without ANY kind of hardware (including a controller of some sort)? Thanks!
Hi Stefan. This is without a controller, but you can use one if you want.
This is the best tutorial online
Thanks NotMyselfNotMe! Poor English, but I try to de-mystify the mysteries about modular synth! 🙂
this goes hard!!
Hi krphyxzwlps. Do you mean that you can easily make techno with it, even hard-tech/trance by setting the clock a bit higher? Or is the tutorial too hard to understand for beginners?
@@modulareffect582 it would be a good basis for techno, but i mainly meant that its cool its crazy good job
Joe koeld speak dutch toe é!
🤣🤣🤣 Great comment!
@@modulareffect582 But, to be serious: great tutorial for beginners ;)
im going to put this on in my sleep so i absorb the information
Thanks for the comment krphyxzwlps! 🙂 It's always an experiment for everyone, just go for it!
Love this. Beautiful patch.
Thanks CLC! 🙂
would you consider a video going thru ur process or some tutorial? students want to learn
Hey krphyxzwlps, good idea!
@@modulareffect582I love that you wrote his whole cryptic name 😂🫶🏻
Fantastico! 😍
Thanks Felipe! 🙂
Interesting
Thanks for the comment Ravi Negi. 🙂
Lovely work on this M E !
Thanks Marti! 🙂
Awesome example of the artform. I can only imagine how long it might have taken to wire up this labyrinth of patches . . . but it was worth the effort. I've also succumbed to the addiction, though I've spent most of my waking hours with Voltage Modular. At some point, friends and neighbors will come by, wondering what happened to me, even though mysterious sounds have continued to waft through the neighborhood nonstop for weeks . . . at which point, they'll discover my cobweb encrusted skeleton, slumped over in my chair.
🤣🤣🤣! Charles, man! Thanks for the joke!
amazing!
Ohhh I dig the use of resonators in this one, or are those bells FM?
Hi Mother Dessicant. That sound comes from the bogaudio walk module, through a quantizer and through the Geodesics Engergy module.
I love it.
Thanks Rman Pojo!
Beautiful example of the artform . . . but wiring up this patch looks like it goes way beyond the "usual" level of complexity associated with this sort of generative content.
Thanks for the comment Charles! 🙂
We are always in exactly the right place at the right time. 💋
Thank you for this very spiritual comment Fluffy Bunny!
very cool! i'm too dumb to figure Meander out still, personally :P
Thank you for the comment alefnull! Dumb and dumber! 😂
Love that bell-like sound bouncing around and setting the tone for the rest of the underlying sounds. Really nice!
Thanks MACC! 🙂
8:00 = Goosebumps, sweet!
Thanks for the comment MACC!
This sounds great! Thank you for sharing the rig too, I will use it as a base and try to experiment with it a bit.
You're welcome Macc. Thank you for your comment.
nice patch
Thank you Alchemist! Nice account name!
@@modulareffect582 cheers
Another awesome and inspiring rack setup!! Since discovering this channel, I have become hopelessly addicted to building modular patches using MiRack on iOS. I'm losing sleep, my thoughts race with ideas, and I have no idea what I'm doing so it's consuming all of my free time... 😂 And I love it. My family and workplace will miss me. 🤣 I hope you won't be upset if I blame you entirely and without taking and responsibility for my own actions, because I have a tendency to be a chicken weasel, or is it a weasely chicken? 🤔 🤷♂️
Great comment Infn8Loop Music! 😂 I know exactly how you feel. 😃 After about two months, you're gonna notice that you need some sleep too. 😂 I saw on your channel that you already posted some videos. It can be so relaxing that it makes up for the sleep deprivation. Good luck and have much fun making patches.
which processor you use?
Hi Elandros. Everything is made with the 2700k Sandy Bridge CPU from 2011. It's time for an upgrade. 😊
@@modulareffect582 vcv is really steady
Superb once again! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the comment Ricky!
lovely textures throughout
Thanks XOPA ART! 🙂

Thanks for the comment Robert! 😊
nice patch
Thanks Alchemist!
This is awesome!! As a person just starting to learn some modular stuff, I love being able to zoom in and see how your achieving these sounds and learn from it! 👏😃👍 This is next level work. you accomplished a lot here without overcomplicating it, this is a really great patch/circuit.
Thanks Infn8Loop Music! The sound of ratcheting is what me got into modular synth.
Hi, Nice to listen and to learn from. That's the kind of patch I want to manage to buid with VCV Rack. Thanks a lot for sharing the vcv file. Cheers
You're welcome Sam, hope it can help speeding up the learnig curve. And thank you for the comment!
