  You have to be near by to trigger it, but if you just collect it every time you depo you can "passively" farm a decent amount, which is how Blooprint opted to utilize this farm.

  @@Kanzuke Everyone exploits game mechanics, even if it's a simple offset bunker. It's not akin to cheating and people spend months / years testing for exploits only for youtubers to sell them out for 5 seconds of fame. I get where you're coming from but if you ever discover something game breaking you'll understand my point.

  I don't see why not, it worked with every other mission. I guess if you're already farming the ocean you might as well get some extra pumps. I personally just don't use shotguns that often.

  @@tamura77Rust I have tried multiple times maybe a year ago to repeat pump quest on the 2nd day of wipe when I play snow ball wipes and it didn't let me take it, but ima try it again now that I've seen your video, if the pump quest is repeatable it's literally game changing for snow balling on oilrigs/labs.

  wdym? u can catch sharks, go 2.5 walls deep and make a fisnhing base, sigbog has vids on this edit: while watching your vid I noticed the rust labs shown 4.5 or 5.5 depth? so, they must've nerfed shark fishing, now has to be done further out/deeper, tho idk that is that bad now.

  @@antonio20123 I meant you can't catch sharks with fish traps, and the whole point of this setup is staying close to the shore to maintain the traps. If you really wanted to you could build a base on the coast and water and build a LONG bridge between the two but it's not worth IMO

  The nerf is based on popularity, if more people sell fish, the prices go up. Seeing as fishing(rod) got nerfed, I suspect you can still get a good deal if this setup(traps) doesn't become "meta". The exact multipliers are TBD but I will update the pinned comment when I have more information.

  I see their change only affects buying with scrap, not selling for scrap. So my comment is null & void.

  could be a good option but if I really just wanna farm a lot of scrap, I would probably prefer the instant fish farm by @BooBooMushu as it does require little to no effort to set it up. And then just farm wolfs and bears in dead areas and sell left over leather/animal Fat or for Meat.

  I prefer just bigger at ocean farms. They yeild for ONE PERSON 10.500 scrap per hour or if you have second teammate 21.000 scrap per hours (16x7 blocks - 136 traps). MAKE A BIG FARM (HEMP) You get PER PLANTER around 0,90% grubs and 1,65% worms (36 cloth if you go for hemp). Time to grow 7 min.

  Scrap rates are highest when you pair fishing/traps/plants but if you want a little "passive" scrap you always just throw bear meat into traps around your base!

  Biggest shit talker ay i get like 2k scrap every hour scub diving on console and like 150 high q metal and so much good loot to sell you need to actually do a propper sus of it and dont use boat it takes longer ya swim to wreck to wreck and console ya still gotta slowly untie them but still make a killing atleast pc now yous can cut rope with knife like stop complaining thats by far best scrap making thing on console and no one else does it so ya safe asf aint no way ya losing anything
