It's Bob Altman's meditation on art, creativity, freedom, and individualism, and how it fits in a modern capitalist, traditionalist society. Its structure, or lack of it, reflects the director's personal visions of collaborative creativity and cooperation. Get a bunch of people you want to work with and make a movie together.

I visited my sister once and I told her we had to watch this movie together. After it was over she told me, "I was expecting to be entertained, I wasn't expecting art." I think this movie is both at the same time. Top five movie of all time, in my opinion.

Hardcore was shown on cable in the early 80's, I was only 12 when I saw it, maybe younger. I just got the Blu-ray from Indicator along with Body Double, The New Centurions and The Stone Killer. All set in the sleazy streets of LA.

I prefer the first Demons movie as well. Demons 2 is really good, but it's basically the same thing as the first one, people getting trapped in a building and demons running rampant. They should have changed things around more for the 2nd one. I also like the makeup effects more in the first one. The little demon creature puppet in Demons 2 is kind of lame, but otherwise, the movie has some decent makeup effects.

A sequel to the film was discussed but never materialized which would have had Vitalli escape prison again this time to seek revenge against a gangster that killed his sister. The film would have ended with Vitalli escaping to the USA.

I remember I staying away from the movie due to the cringe also I didn't appreciate that Guile was the main character instead of Ryu and Ken. However when I finally saw it, I couldn't help but laugh and how this movie seemed more like a light hearted action comedy then a serious action film

I don't disagree with QT very often but here he is wrong to a surprising leval. It's a painting come to life. A trip into pesimism, the renaisance made 4D forming something quite unique in how the camera becomes the brush, Michael Nyman lends another layer. The framing is theatrical, the stage extended but always coinfined to the framing of a moving painting. you can almost feel the turning of the crank rolling the canvas on. This is one of the most interesting films ever made.

It's about the doomed, deluded youth of the counter culture that was bubbling at the time woven into a fairy tale style of weird characters. See Icarus and naively mis-assessing the real powers that be.

Great video. I can't wait to see that movie! I also can't believe I never heard of it. It's like when I worked at an office that had the poster for the movie California Split (1974) with George Segal and Elliott Gould. I went home that night and watched it. Now I will see this one as soon as I get a chance. Thank you! I'll subscribe to your channel and look forword to future videos.

Bud Cort plays Boone in MASH. He's the corpsman that Frank Burns blames when one his patients dies. It makes Boone cry, Trapper John witnesses this and punches Burns. Sally Kellerman is the actress that played Hot Lips in the film.

Greetings from Porto alegre, Brazil. We are in the middle of the greatest flood in Brazil history here in my city. Its a hell of a month, but your Channel its good to get my mind out of caos, our comunist dictatorship and all the death and Muddy dirty Water. Anyway, i have brwester McCloud in dvd for years, but never seen It. This might be the push i need, thanks. My favorite Altman is Popeye hahahhaha. New Hollywood, have you guys Talked about the Hospital? George C IS unbelieveble.

@@mediumcoolshow hospital is ok, pretty uneaven. Some funny parts, some weird, some silly. But, and i mean BUT, George C Scott is beyond amazing. Maybe best acting in a movie ever, not joking. Even on his back his acting is suberb. The way he shouts the words with such a real meaning, such Power. Unforgetable. Check It out one of these days

So many things about this movie where bad but so many things where great. One that stands out as great is the use color and lighting in the film . If the scene was lit with red light the characters wearing white beforehand had costume changes so they are in a red version of the costume in red light . Its cool
