Ironically there are no black men or women at this conference, just these white guys claiming to be Vodu.

That it is possible to reinterpret all the world's mythologies by the reductionism of 'Chaos Magic' proves very little. The relativity of Chaos magicians, so trendy in the 1980s, has no place in genuine occultism. It markets itself as the height of spiritual diplomacy, saying nobody really knows anything at all... 'nothing is true and everything is possible' .. and is effectively the height of arrogance, since the Chaos magicians so evidently believe they are some kind of Illuminati.. they believe nobody knows any better than THEM. What an insult to those of us with integrity and the eyes to see what we see.

The last person you should ask about The Black Man of the Witches is a white South African who thinks Voodoo is simple peasant paganism. What an insult to his audience, to real Voudusant, and to real witches. It says everything that his words are amongst the most popular at this German occult conference, Not a good look..

Much shorter lecture he could and should have given, if he really knew, is that Kahfu (shadow of Legba) is the same archetype as The Master of Crossroads of the witches. But he doesn't know about that, evidently. 35 minutes of no real useful information - just the usual self congratulation. Compare the rebellion of the Red Sects with their djab to the rebellion of the witches against Church and State - compare also to The Free Spirit movement of the middle ages - the red priests and hedge priest that spread the heresies. The Black Man of the Witches, like the Devil of the Horse Whisperers, was embodied as a human. But you won't hear such truths from this waffling pseudo-Gnostic spoiled white boy, Not surprised he went to Haiti and bought an 'Asson' - how many thousands did that cost? .. he bought a rattle.. that is all he got. No real Voudon temple would recognize this fool as a Houngan. What an insult to those of us with integrity and the eyes to see what we see.

That incantation is proof of the pudding. We believe in Emily Selove..She has it going on with medieval Aran and Islamic literature. She is our Picatrix if this mix.

Brilliant once again. I'm reminded now of the book Call me Lucifer by Elaine Garrett. It is much in the vein of the napoleon hill book. He (the Noble Stranger) talks about methods of obtaining Passivity. That is an interesting idea to me for meditative ways rather than "transgressive" Bravo

This has nothing to do with the origins of the tarot. The Marseilles pack was at least 150 years after the Visconti Sforza pack & every image from the major arcana existed independently or semi-independently before that. For example, the seven virtues are the largest sub-group, with all seven present in the Tarot. Fortune for example comes from the Roman goddess Fortuna of which there are many images before the Tarot. Before her was the Greek goddess Tyche & before her Nemesis

The Visconti Sforza's Popess, is for me most interesting, as she doesn't wear Papal vestments, but a simple habit. There are possibly two meanings to this, not necessarily mutually exclusive 1.She represent Maifreda da Pirovano, wearing the habit of the Humiliati order. 2.She represents Faith, her crown is not simple & attached to her head, which could represent "Inner" or the soul, I've composed a poem to indicate this. Faith requires no external trappings & is sufficient unto herself, though clothed in the most simple wrappings, inside lies the wealth.

The early Tarot was only a game.... for those that played it. However for those that designed it, it may have been quite different.

samadhi -> merging with brahma/demiurge/yehova/satan etcetc (yes, whatever your brainwash/dogma/mind control may state otherwise) moksha -> "the great escape", anima/animus is the soul, brahmas breath that permeates everything and everyone soul =/= spirit, created vs uncreated during brahmas "last breath" when the end is the beginning is the end is the... (zero point) everything and everyone *that is created* vanishes, no individual memory remains, yes even the "heavenly hierarchies", only he/she/it remains and starts with a new cycle, the uncreated and not yet succumbed will also remain free/outside of the new material cycle most the people you see are not real, as mere creations/reflections of the one/lord/god/dog etcetc, not just that, some are driven by non humans inside, a spirited and (so called) human being that is also in the "drivers seat" of his "vehicle" aka master of his own temple my estimation especially the (white) western world is at max 4% be careful what you wish for or practice, message (likely) to the ONE fellow reader that will get it, for the rest dont bother responding, if this goes through at all

I see some problems. For example: The chair of the Emperor. In TdM type-I (the older), he was not sitting in. a throne with decorated back, but in a round chair. I am not entirely sure that these were the ancestor drawings for the TdM. These long clothes were very common.

they're not. this appears to be the conver deck from 1760. older tdm decks dont use these expressions. all he did here was find the reference material the artist of the conver plates may have used.

This isn't the cornerstone of his thesis is it? I'm not sold on any of that at all. Also, it is not uncommon for artists to take inspiration from existing drawings without any associations or meanings of the original. There is a whole book on Austin Osman Spare's sources for drawings and designs.
