  مساء الخير ٠ بالنسبة للفنانة مايا يونان تطرقت إلى موضوع غناء الجزراوية ٠نعم الجزراوية قديما كانوا عرب وسكنهم الجزيرة ٠ لكن على مر السننيين وامتداد نهر الفرات في ظاهرة المد والجزر تتبع لحركة القمر والهلال ٠قبل ١٥٠ سنة أصبحت منطقة الجزيرة تابعة لتركيا أحسبها نهر دجلة وهي الان تسمى جزيرة ( بوتان) وسكانها كلهم اكراد وتسمى حاليا شرناخ وفي مطار وقريبة على الحدود العراقية من جهة الشمال ٠تحياتي واحتراماتي لكم الفنانة مايا يونان بالتوفيق ٠

  @@quodpodprinz1746 Child. Do you think the entire Assyrian Empire, used the silenced language to communicate among their peoples? Assyrians have their own language, now and for the past 6776 years. Please educate yourself before you write foolish comments like yours, let me educate you.. Assyrians used cuneiform writing, which was hard for their children to learn. When Lebanon, Syria, and all were under the Assyrians, they adopted the Aramaic Alpha Bet which was 22 letters in comparison to 6000 cuneiform letters. The Assyrian rulers adopted the Aramaic alphabet and kept their language. However, they changed some shapes of the Aramaic alphabet to fit their language, and they are the ones who made it known to the old world and spread its greatness to all that world. But the Assyrian language was the same. I am sure in due time, like any other language of the world, it changed, and now may be different from the Assyrian language that was spoken 6776 years ago, the same happened to Hebrew, Arabic, Persian, English Roman, Greek, and so on. Please, we need unity, our enemy is one and the same, i we all are one, let us not go against each other because of our accents, . Some want to kill us all. Stop dividing, start uniting. When the sword comes to cut our necks, it can not tell who is speaking with what accent, let us unite to be able to survive.

How come there is no living people, who calls themselves assyrians speaks the old language, but everyone speaks aramaic? Is it cuz the assyrians vanished some hundreds of years BC?
