    I just checked the video and the notation isn't blurred at 720p. Please check the video quality settings and make sure you're not viewing at 166p or 360p. At 720p the notation should be clearly legible. I hope that helps. Thanks!

    Boy: i'll change tuner pedal to avoid click. Man: i'll add elephant size volume pedal and will use it like nothing but on/off button. Dude, different tuner or! If you like TU2 so much, small a/b switch, like 5 time smaller than this volume...

    I’m with you here on not being able to play it full speed and I’ve been working on it for over a year. I’m in a band with some friends and we’re covering it so I really need to practice it now. I’m currently 13 and have been playing for 2 1/2 years and think that it is so fun. Keep up the good work

    @@BoBoswell Some times the bassist will play the full arpeggios of the rhythm guitar. I think Sing by Travis is an example of that. And some times the bassist will lock in note for note with the lead guitar melody. I think Side by Travis is an example of that.

    This is pretty good. I think Bass players would get more out of the NNS if you would show them, how it works with Chord changes. For instance a chord progression of 1 6- 4 5. Which is where the NNS really shines. How it is used to back up the band while the Guitar plays Chords and the Bass is following along playing notes in that chord. And how the NNS can help Transcribe the thousands and thousands of 3 & 4 and more chord songs. Thanks.

    Repetition = muscle memory.also, I learnt the notes on the fretboard first, than the number system after. That wasn't a conscious decision. I hadn't heard of the number system. Now that I do, I think I did it the right way. AND, learn the whole note / half note patterns for scales. Ie. WWHWWWH, etc. And the circle of fifths as that corresponds to the fretboard, ie E string, say first fret F then Bb then Eb then Ab. Follows the circle of 5ths anti clockwise. Same with every fret going up in pitch. So the last fret on 20 fret bass will be C F Bb Eb .. everything repeats.

    How do you like using a Jazz Bass for P&W? I can’t decide between that or a Precision Bass!

  • @BoBoswell
    @BoBoswell4 ай бұрын

    I really enjoy the Jazz Bass, primarily for the neck and fretboard. My hands aren't that big, so the Jazz fretboard is more comfortable for me to play than a P-Bass. Never had any issues with it.
