  Oh this is great, I am extremely creative in other ways I used to tattoo, currently write software and music and a special person has recently moved me to attempt poety. I wrote a Villanelle the other day that was actually quite good, yesterday's Italian sonnet...well was maybe not a sonnet :) for I didn't get the turn right. Gonna try again.   It's good to do syllabic exercises for children, but haiku (singular and plural) are poems that are written in Japanese onji which differ greatly from English syllables. Therefore, in the English world, we mostly write haiku in a short/long/short format.
