HDRT Racing

Howie Doin Roger That Racing is nonprofit organization that was born out of a desire to pay homage to the generations before us that forged our paths in the motorsports community. It is our mission to create an inclusive community at and around the races that facilitates personal growth for riders of all ages. We will encourage positive mindsets on and off the track and focus on the importance of family-oriented weekends (and weekdays). Our outreach will allow all members of the racing community, from riders to siblings to moms & grandparents to embody a lifestyle that promotes all things good, just like Howard and Roger did. We plan to accomplish these things through sponsorship guidance, giveaways, workshops, mentorships, and community events. Creating content that furthers the confidence of the community members and helps positively promote our partners and sponsors is something we strive to accomplish.

Is that actual racing or just like a ride the track day??? because where the hell is everybody??? Looks like what 15-20 riders and 50 fans??? not much of a pay day for the expert class.

Damn! back in the 70's there would have been a hundred riders and the stands would have been full...Sad. I raced FT and TT back then in NYS and every weekend there was a race to go to. Now there is 1 surviving TT track in Medina NY and the last of the short tracks...Paradise Speedway...closed and sold 2 years ago with no apparent interest in keeping it going. Syracuse Mile is gone, Trumansburg half mile is long gone, Weedsport speedway use to run a pro/am race the week before the pros would be at the Syracuse mile every year but IDK if they are still holding that race anymore. Palmyra NY Hogback Hill TT scrambles track is long gone now an MX track. Change is inevitable...some is good some not so much. Flat track racing popularity started fading in the 80's and by the 2000's was just a shell of the former glory it once was. Even the pro circuit is getting few spectators. I was shocked to see how empty the Daytona Pro short track race was. I would bet the vintage races bring in more fans and riders. In the mean time the pro Supercross races are setting attendance records every race now. More for the fans to relate to i guess...

Just asking, why is TMC Harpster look so dusty in this video? Is it usually? Cincinnati and Lawrenceburg don't appear this dusty the times I've been there. Or AFT Races like Springfield or Indy. Not being confrontational, I'm new to sport and curious. Thanks!

No hay bales around the light post, pickups parked in the infield. All it takes is 2 bikes to collide and those 2 things become targets. The most basic of safety protocols need to be administered. 1. Haybales around all lightpost n stationary objects 2. No vehicles in the infield during races - Former CMRA #999

I was a Member of Triangle MC back when they were on Gooding RD. My two Sons race Flat Track and did really good in the late 80's up to the mid 90's. My Job moved us away and I didn't have time or place to build bikes anymore. Have a great time doing this as a family You will remember it the rest of Your Day's. Bill Alley
