  something that took me while to notice is that they made someone opening a soda can part of the music at certain points with 0:17 being one of the times it happens(if I got the time right for when it happened at least) and I like that as a choice for the song as it doubles down the theme of trying to get someone to understand that they should listen more and actually believe that what's going on with someone is true and not an 'act for attention' thing, it gives a bit of a feeling that the singer is singing this to someone in hopes that they'll listen fully and stop half or even not listening in favor of something as mondain as a drink

  25 years of "tattoos".....this song hit so hard. I've commented on a couple of reaction videos....but this song....the fact that I was a kid with no help or understanding of SI... I'm glad my "frame" is to not be ashamed of my legs and arms, but rather an invitation to ask me... Its ok. You're not alone....

  For anyone interested in listening to even older songs by Jake. There's six songs from an EP called "When the lights go down" that's just Jake before Citizen Soldier from 10 years ago. One of those called "I'm alive" is on KZread on Jakes channel Jake Segura. That one and the rest can be found on a Channel called AlternativeX where they added lyrics. There's also a song called "Shatter Proof" that's a Collab with Scarlet City that is also a lyric video. Nobody has reacted to any of these songs, so far.

  Let It Burn saved your life, as it had with so many other people. This song had made me reflect and encouraged me to reform my life around. I am so proud of what Citizen Soldier has done for me!   Another comment from me, very sorry. I just have to mention this, and please don’t take any offence (or offense, in the American spelling) to what I’m about to say, but this is honestly why you should patiently wait for the official lyric videos to get uploaded onto Citizen Soldier’S channel, so that you get all of the lyrics 100% accurate. And why I say this is because I have noticed the lyric site you look them on has all of these question marks, the person writing those has some kind of hearing problem. I legit can hear every word clearly and perfectly without even looking at the lyrics. And those question marks are why I recommend you to actually be patient and watching the lyric videos. Because truthfully, not only will you understand everything as they should be, without any of these awful mess-ups, the artwork transitions within these lyric videos make it so much more impactful. I’m sure you are aware of this fact, but you are just impatient, and I understand that. This is who you are, and I like you for it. Keep being you, don’t take what I say to heart, it’s just a recommendation that actually would make me more comfortable if I were to stay by your side to the very end 😉😄

  I mean its really easy to mishear "Used To" and "You Still" I can honestly hear both so it makes sense something like that could be misheard cuz of how they sound basically the same.

  I’m so sorry for being away for 2 whole weeks from when you uploaded this reaction. I kind of didn’t want to come here just because of a very stupid reason that simply made no sense. I didn’t arrive earlier, until now, because you reacted to the final 2 songs out of order. What released in order was Tattoos and then Suicide Note. So yeah, it’s a dumb reason. And if you were wondering, no, I didn’t restrain myself from coming here to see your beautiful reaction to all 3 songs because you reacted to Tattoos 1 week earlier and Suicide Note 2 weeks earlier than both of their initially planned releases as official lyric videos on their KZread channel (from when this video of yours was uploaded).   If you listen carefully to "Tattoos" sometimes when he takes a breath in for the next line you can sorta hear that he's got tears in his eyes... I say this because the breath in has that like stutter and his voice afterwards is as if he's mid crying while trying to speak

  Jake (the lead singer) has said that in the past he was overweight and that a band told him that he was too fat and that his voice was not good enough to be a singer. So I would imagine he has had these kind of thoughts when he looked in the mirror back then. I personally can’t relate to it (except for the dreaming about being anybody else but me part), but I still find this song my favorite off this album.
