**A B O U T M E **:
WHO?
My name is Grant Duong and I am a PODIATRIST / SPEAKER / ENTREPRENEUR / VLOGGER / WRITER !
WHERE?
I am an Australian Podiatrist. My clinic is based in Bankstown, Sydney.
WHY?
I wanted to become a Podiatrist since the age of 15 years old. I found foot and lower limb health was often ignored and taken for granted despite the vital role it has in our daily lifestyles.
WHEN?
I have been practicing for approximately 8 years
HOW?
I was inspired to become a Podiatrist after sitting in for some 'work experience' with a local passionate Podiatrist.
DID YOU KNOW?
I also do weekly vlogs of the stuff I'm up to outside of Podiatry. Check out my WATCHGRANT channel at : bit.ly/2pjsAlk

thanks this helps me a lot i will try it
Getting out of bed with foot pain SUCKS! Don't let this start your day off on a bad foot! Would love to know if you get heel pain getting out of a chair, or a car ?
We're loving the "Outta Bed Strategy"!

😶😶😶
Good man 👍
cheers
I'll try this to my 3 years old daughter
how did you go? Did your daughter find it tricky?
Can we do this exercise on 2 years baby ???
yes definitely! of course, a 2 year old can try to mimic some of the movements as they are essentially bodyweight movements - so yes go ahead!
Thank you so much for publishing this. I work as a front desk agent at a hotel and the employer does not want the agents to sit ever not even for lunch break, we actually don't have a lunch break and we work alone so can't even walk but just stand there waiting for the guests to arrive or depart. I find it hard on my body. I'm glad that I came looking for a way to release the tension in my knees and hips too #grateful
i appreciate your comment and sorry to hear that your work conditions are so strenuous! Do you have any regulations or unions that support a healthier work environment?
sir My niece has pigeon feet she is 3 years old she dont wear shoes given by Dr.what should i do?
do these exercises! What shoes did the Dr supply?
@@grantthefootdoc8254 hard plastic shoes that hurt her
Im turning 33 im still pigeon toed 😕 I'm having to learn how to walk again
its not a terrible thing. Has the pigeon toeing affected your lifestyle?
I do 1 daily and it releases pain
which one?
@@grantthefootdoc8254 exercise no. 1 as in this video
I've been running longer distance. Issue is, once I get past 10K I start to get pain in the ball of the foot and base of the toes. feels like the sock is crumpled, or someone stuck a hair scrunchy in my shoe. It's right where the toes connect to the foot. Now, if I remove the shoe (stop running) and feel inside, there is no deformation of the insert, or my sock. the pain will last about 30 minutes after I stop running, then go away, but that section is still tender when massaged. When walking around, it's fine. I'm just getting frustrated, because my muscles, and lungs can easily handle the distance, and every time, it's like at the 10k mark, this starts. Recommendations?
Doc i have some question is there other way i can talk to you like email or something?
jump on my instagram page instagram.com/grantfootdr/ - im more active there
I have open toe shoes though
Can I do these exercise for knocked knees?
Great question! Yes! It's all about improving the weaker hip and thigh muscles - which will certainly help with knock knees! Do you get any pain walking?
I'm about to start my job as a bagger, and i have no experience with any job that requires me to stand for a long time. Hopefully this video will help me out to atleast survive the 5 hour training.
How's it going? You still working?
@@johnkimball5872 yup, i somehow survived and still kickin' well!
@@Despair331 great to hear! Are you required to work 5 hours straight?
@@grantthefootdoc8254 I'm done with my training, so 4 hours work then break then back to work
Got in trouble for sitting 🪑
thx! looks fun for the children.
Definitely!!! I've got some of my patients building obstacle courses for the kids go round and round! Endless fun! Not when it gets competitive between the kids! haha
Guys anyone else doing this for the long Good Friday service?
😢
better tips is buy one of those massage machine and massage your feet after work and put your feet in very cold water that will boost the recovery also drink alot of water and wear comfortable shoes that's the most important thing
Hey doctor will this work for me I am 32 male I walk funny intoe I hate it man help me out exercise will work right ?? I am going to doit and will their be a surgery needed I think it’s my feet not my legs that are intoe
it will help with any symptoms you're experiencing. But you must not forget that you've had 30years of walking a certain way. Doing some exercises for a few months isn't going to make drastic changes! You must be patient and be disciplined. Do you get any pain?
Dude best way to get rid of your pain (get “VICKS” and massage your feets and legs with it before sleeping) thanks me later
I dunno,i feel,i meetafakedoctor
What do you think about sensory puzzle mats? kzread.info/dash/bejne/nJeputCif6e0j84.htmlfeature=shared
What about exercises for delayed (nonverbal -nonwalkers)
thanks for your question. I have encountered kids who are nonverbal and minimal to nil walking. The root of cause is important but after some perseverance, I end up empathizing with my patient and really understand their likes and hobbies - i.e. nintendo switch gaming, watching tv, playing a toy
The shoes I'm wearing are not tight but I always get shoe bites from all the shoes I wear
Stfu and get on the point already
I got immense benifit from this . Thanking.
It's the vaccines..

I am grateful for this video 🎉
Great job 👏 👍
Thanks!!!
Thanks for this 🙏🏿
I work 4 hour shifts after 30 years at a desk. I get dizzy, tight chest during my shift and throw up sometimes after my shift. I drink ice water throughout to avoid dehydration. I vomit all of the liquid. Why does this happen?
Great info! So glad I found your video… recently started working in a warehouse and am on my feet on concrete all day. Was wondering if you might do a video on stretches we can do after work, and stretches to do beforehand to prep… thanks so much!!!
When I wear heels my legs feel better ?
Because you've shortened your calf muscles. So wearing a flat shoe can pull or stretch that muscle making the leg feel tired.
@@dabarefootbombshell makes sense
Ty it helped .. but feels like hes doing a impersonation of an Asian
Honestly, giving employees chairs or letting them sit once in a while needs to be normalized more. So stupid that in some jobs where you stand in one place all day, you can't sit and still do the same job
wheres that sound effect from feel like I heard it somewhere like 20 years ago
😅 Rugrats!
I searched up the opening sequence and the credits, I couldnt find this sound though. Where was it used in the show? It's been driving me crazy @@grantthefootdoc8254

Sounds like The TITANIC hitting that ice-berg ! 😳😬🤯
on my day off I've got a inch dowel and I've been doing arch rolls, is that actually doing anything for my feet?
stand for about 10 hours straight THANK YOU
