Hi Lucie, would love to hear more about how you work out your pricing. For example if the bear is sold by another seller for £45, how did you choose the price of £60? Struggling to work out my own pricing strategy so would love any insight Xx
Great suggestion! Your talking about Hamley bear the reason I put up my for £60 is mine had it originally box the other person was £45.00 with tag but no box . So I went bit higher thinking the box would make it worth more but in hindsight proable drop down £50 soon or wait for Christmas as it in excellent condition .

No worries! I got confused they for moment I alway try and pre film my video where possible so that I’m always putting out content for everyone . I often listen to them /watch them when im sort stock out or need to get motivated for the car boot sale lol

Not at moment as didn’t enjoy the community on they as they were not very nice to me in lockdown.

Lucky the lady who contacted me got it taken down and no one was scammed . Thank god but it is bad . Just need to be aware
Unfortunately, anyone can use your photos to sell something that they are selling ( apparently selling ) happened to me. I was selling a life-size dog toy, and someone used all my photos to sell their item. Looked up all the rules, and it says that all photos on eBay more or less can be for public use. They put it like they are stock photos.
I totally understand that people can use our photo but that said person was scamming people lucky that girl message me to confirm if it was our listing and she help us get it taken down before someone lost a lot of money . Kinda don’t think it right in my oppion that eBay use photo like that but I get both side . Just making people aware so that other people don’t get scammed . But life happen and the listing go removed but we always got to be on guard . Sorry I ramble a lot I know lol
@luciescarbootsaleloot7277 There really should be a confirmation to say if we wouldn't mind letting the public use our photos if they have similar to sell, confirmation might stop the scammers, maybe. The customer was one of the lucky ones, but sadly, there are people out there that fall for it. By the way, you are not rambling. You are just just talking 😀
@@lisaboakes2802 or something like that or something with like ebay on the photo like watermark which they cant get removed or something . lucky this was a couple years ago and nothing has happen since but just want people to be aware. i do like to repeat myself and ramble on specially in person lol .

Well done with your buys. Hope you do well with them. Maybe we'll cross paths at the Abi boot sale. I only buy at the boots for the collectables and practical bits for fun and because it's cheaper than shops. I've only just found out this week that if you pay an extra pound, you can go in for the early bird 8.00 entry. It doesn't say so on the website. Coins are hard to get these days, so I swapped a tenner for £1 coins on the way out with the gate man. He has been taking £1s for entry all morning.
Sounds great! Yes I’m always an early by normal left by 10am as it not a huge car boot . Couldn’t get they today as road from me was closed so decide to go south instead and not sure about next weekend . Hope to meet you one day .

Hi some time do Andover - weyhill my favourite by exit flooded at the moment . Never done shootash as not sure if they allow filming as some car boot sale don’t allow it . Don’t really go to wyke down unless it after weyhill.

It not always a lie some times some stuff do go to my Neice and nephews . Sometime it easier to say it for your Neice or nephew as some time people our funny about reselling .
Those playmobil vehicles were a good buy i have sold several for around £12 or so each with no figures.

Yes a while ago . I try and date my video as I prefilm so that I try not to me a upload on Sunday in cause of car boot cancel (like a lot this year ) or (anything like lockdown again) I’m just always extra filming

Ah it is hard storing stock and managing new items coming in as it is a constant cycle and rearranging everything as life gets in the way. But you seem to have a good system in place with a lot of listed stock and sales and items getting sold & posted out 🙂 I know myself items i buy from the boot sales quickly pile up and can become overwhelming if I don’t keep on top of it. At the moment I’m trying to stall out at least once a week at the boot sales to clear a lot of the cheaper items and keeping my best bits for online. Once your office is finished and you can move things around I’m sure everything will fall into place and your business can grow even further. Keep doing what your doing Lucie, your a hard worker and you can see your passion and determination and even with knocks in life you keep pushing forward and are growing a successful business and KZread channel Wish you all the best for the future ♥️
thank for this lovely message - you totally right and we do the same cheaper stock we clear at the car boot sale when then on as the weather isnt helping at the moment but you got to make hay while the sun shine . everything will come into place soon just a lot going on in house.
Good for you to put that person in their place, but in another way, why should you explain yourself. I understand how things are, we too are in between building a kitchen, as for Ebay items oh my god it's everywhere 😂, I say no more! then friends and family say, "Do you want all these items?" Then I say, "Yeah, go on, then 😂 You are doing a good job, don't let anyone get you down, especially people like them, they are not worth it.
@@lisaboakes2802 thank you . excalty shouldnt have to explain but i want to show the realistic side of ebay special when do from your home and not pay for a unit or warehouse right now . it harder sometime as you cant keep up sometime with stock influx and you got may hay while sun shine if you get my gist but also keep changing thing to improve the bussiness and try and keep ebay and life seprate but always end up coming together - excalty they not worth it - most of time block and forget about them but want to show everything in life that can put strain on something . at the end day it not they house , they dont live here . we doing best while can and thank you for lovely comment .

thank i didnt notice it at the time as this was our second car boot sale of the day - 95% of time stuff like jellycat would normally be gone but does look like it now im looking at it . also i dont know all jellycat unfortunley but very appreciate that your pointed that out . i will do my home work in future and look through the plushies .

Proable can’t remember much from this video . The title is to do with doll in the box they was 3 and they were £4.00 each and I was meant to haggle down but end up doing £16.00 instead of £12.00 totally mess up that day but we all have days where we mess up lol .
Love the cat teddies, very cute ❤️ I find Charity shops very hit and miss, the rare occasion there is a item I like they are so expensive. The days are gone of getting cheap Jellycats out the Teddy baskets, nowadays they are in the cabinet priced at eBay prices
yes totally agree but some people still managed to do it . i think i might do a charity shop challenge in december and see where i get best stuff from maybe but we see as i dont feel confident to film in charity shop even know i try sometime in my daily vlogs.
