God doesn't "decide" anything. If there was a god, and that's a big "if", he wouldn't waste his time deciding small things. There's certainly more important things for him to do, like a huge black hole about to explode or two giant galaxies about to colide...

God wants us to be ignorant -- it's right there in genesis 2. About 40% of Americans believe Noah's ark is history. We are living through a great simplification. Witness MAGA, etc. There are not 5 statesmen alive today that compare to the Founders, who despite being a product of their economic times were at least curious and educated. For the foreseeable future we're in trouble. I am 70 and I've seen symptoms of decline since i was a 13 year old paper boy and in 1968 nixon won the election. My first thought was oh god we are screwed.

After watching yours and other reviews of this scope. I've placed an order incorrectly. I've ordered 503 102 bundle and don't think it includes the scope. I'm reaching out to reviewers as svbony aren't responding to my messages. Thanks if you can help with any means of contacting them.

Where did you order from? The bundle does typically come with the scope. If your order was over 500 then it should definitely be a scope bundle pack.

Carl Sagan’s message is so true and relevant today…. ! When charlatans and crooked politicians play into schemes of selling bibles to a gullible flock of sheep and proclaim publicly to become a “dictator for one day” this has become a reality…. Science rebuked and ridiculed, false claims, Cresus’s fallacy realized again by an ignorant incontinent idiot

Unfortunately, Carl never understood what lay ahead after death. He now understands that he was as much an enemy of truth as the cults he vilified. Imagine the arrogance of this individual whose faith in theory versus fact compelled him to claim authenticity.

It seems to me that Sagan is foreseeing how humans are losing control to first the Silicon Valley companies and thereafter to AI. All because the Politicians never understood or even was interested in what science was discovering.

There's no debunking happening here; it's a flawed argument. Instead of discussing the bacterial flagellum, let's shift our focus to the Bombardier beetle. Using this example, it's evident that trying to debunk "irreducible complexity" with the same argument is entirely futile.

For those who connect with Sagan on his charisma, erudition, and measured careful intelligence, there is a place to turn for those same traits without the closed minded elitism. Sagan’s scientific puritanism has not help up well, especially outside of astronomy, and especially in the last four years. But for a more enlightened intellectual discussion of similar topics, turn to David Berlinski, or Stephen Meyer. Your life will be changed, but unlike Sagans perspectives that always make the human smaller and smaller in the scheme of things, they will elevate your experience.
