That Gegerle V1 is nasty!! Youre living the life Joao, and ofc the Spizzichino takes the win. Definitely worth your pension funds tho 🤣 P.S. With all of these many ride cymbals you have, where and how do you actually store it? Do you keep it at some rental storage or simply at your home?

The <17” cymbals are very cool. Beyond that you don’t seem to get any more low end, only less definition

This set sounds great, particularly beginning at 4:00 where you are playing a jazz rhythm balance with focus on the hi hats and ride instead of a rock rhythm balance with focus on the snare and bass drums like you did at the beginning. As a jazz drummer, this is what I need to hear. Showing both really helps all of us in the audience. Great job! I would also like to hear a demo of the Istanbul Agop Traditional Dark set which I understand is less crisp with a darker and softer sound. Thanks.

Good video, your tips are also a good reminder. I do everything by ear now, but I used to use to use a Tunebot but it makes you focus on the hz in stead of paying attention to the things that matter like the room or live setting, type of snare and the sound you are looking for. When you tuned the snare high it sounded like Chad Smith :)

Sometimes I believe it's not the size of the bell that gives it projection but more the shape and thickness, have a HH medium heavy ride with a regular sized bell but it has such a powerful projection
