    This jacket is a waste of money….it hardly gets warm. I sent back 2 jackets which turned out to be faulty. After that I just stuck to my sundridge bib and brace….job done!!!

    nice peace of plastic, but i cut it with hand as easy and with more different sizes in almost the same time... even twice the time is no big problem.. i don't have to clean the plastic, just a plate, so that safes time... but its handy... i rather do it by hand, as easy also. Boiling water ad with garlic in it, give an extra flavor and also retracts fat from the meat. When jou just cut and use a fish liquid or amino liquid directly on the meat for more than 12 hours, you don't need boiling water.... on a week session its more easy.... nice video by the way.

    I took this man’s comments on board, BIG MISTAKE. Paid £80.00 and it was the biggest waste of money ever. Every single cast the line tangled behind the spool around the mechanism cogs. TOTAL RUBBISH.

    I have the 506 mk2, which is very similar to this one, and it is totally perfect, I've used it a lot, and never had one single tangle,, maybe you've put too much line on the spool,???

  • @fishingbitesandbanter293

    OK so say I wanted to use 6 or maybe 8 pound line for slightly heavier float fishing to try to avoid small roach and perch and instead target Tench and small carp. Under arm casting with a 13ft rod. Which spool would you recommend? And do you fill the spool right up with line. Or do you stop slightly short to reduce the risk of the line jumping down the back of the spool?

  • @fishingbitesandbanter293
    @fishingbitesandbanter293Ай бұрын

    @@carlbrain3758 personally with line like that I'd use the deepest spool with some backing line if needed. And spool it to just a mil or so short of the lip to prevent spooling off .

    Sorry I’m very late to the party. I have just bought the 506mk 2 which is fabulous. Unfortunately I’ve heard a lot of negative feed back on the 507mk2. May I ask are they 1 or 2 pin on the spool & how is it fairing up today ?

    The map tks is awesome for its price . But the Preston edge monster is known for being the best of the best for pure strength and fishability in its price point. The only reason I went for a MAP instead was it fitted all my top kits. Personally I'd stay the Preston is better.

    @@davidtaylor6961 hey! I got a MAP M20 margin pole. It was on a really, really great deal. In the end I was told that the MAP M20 was much better pole than edge monster. Better carbon etc. I don’t know if that’s true. My thinking with it being more expensive RRP as and when I decide to upgrade should get a better price… maybe? I bought it online, so did not have a waggle pre-purchase. If you can I would recommend try any pole before you buy, but it’s not easy. Down my way no pole alleys. So I took a chance. Still as good as new. Not a single problem or crack or anything that I can point to. The only thing that is slightly annoying is the water seal that goes around the zips can catch on the zips when opening and closing but you soon get used to it and figure out the best way to avoid trapping it. I'd highly recommend it .
