  You left out Russian Blues. Also feline intelligence is far superior to that of dogs. They are problem solvers. We share 95% of our DNA with cats, approx 80% with dogs.

  We’ve had 2 Siamese, a Bombay, and a Burmese, and all of them are low shedders. Regardless, the Burmese and Bombay cats’ dander did aggravate my sinuses occasionally if I put my hands on my face after petting them.

  Cats with N/N genotype are not predicted to be at increased risk of HCM and cannot transmit this hypertrophic cardiomyopathy-associated mutation to their offspring. Cats with N/HCMrd genotype may be at increased risk of HCM. They will transmit this hypertrophic cardiomyopathy-associated mutation to 50% of their offspring.   I think thats alright. they will learn to sleep during those hours and be awake when you are home. It will learn the sleeping pattern and the daily routines. Just make sure to play and give it attention when you are at home and awake

  I would like to find a ragdoll, I had a female blue cream tortie and she was the best and I am spoiled now. I lost her 6 yrs now and I really need to find another one but I'm scared of all the scammers. My old breeder has retired and I can't find anyone.

  Note: never use your hands as toys, always have a toy to give them and never be aggressive or hit any animal. They don’t understand they are not humans. Find other ways to let out your aggression. Your voice is enough. When you play with your kittens always have a toy to give them. That will let them know that scratching and swatting is not playing. No anger is needed, just give them a toy. Never leave toys hanging on doorknobs, they can play and twist and twist then panic and actually choke themselves to death. Thank you so much for your excellent advice.

  Yeah, owner of two Siberians here. They definitely need more than weekly brushing, and even with that they shed year-round as far as I can tell. We bathe ours every 3-4 months too. Luckily they don't really fight to the death about it, they just protest.

  Cats are very loving, but often they don't want to show it. I had a cat that gave birth to four kittens. I kept the chickens. The cat was twenty-one years old, and the chickens were eighteen years old. Two of the kittens got cancer at about the same time. I treated and operated on them, but I could only extend their lives by four months. I did the tests on the mother cat and she was fine, but when the disease started to manifest itself in the two kittens, she also started to suffer. The cats died ten days after each other, and the mother cat after three days. He really didn't want to live anymore. I can say that they were special. They proved their love by doing everything they could to make our work easier with their care, and that without even the slightest training. Cats are smarter than we think.

  Balinese cats are also pretty gutsy. I have a medium sized dog as well as a Balinese cat. Kitty loves to chase my dog. She sees my dog ( a smallish Aussie-mix dog) as a playmate.

  my cat Rambo must be an american shorthair. but his personality differ a bit from this video because he always been a bit violent and suspicious (because the first owner and his dog abused him). my mum took care of him but she sadly passed away in 2022 and i had to trap him and bring to my home. i already took the maine coon female home 2 weeks after mum passed away (i fed the cats but let them stay at her house until i thought it was time to bring them to my home and she knew i was a good guy and she trusted me), the shorthair got very suspicious and it took me a few months until i finally trapped him. now one year later the cats love me and Rambo now fully trust me. not violent no more and it is obvious the cat love me. everyone told me it was best to put that cat to sleep before i tried to catch him but i have proven everyone of them wrong. this cat is now my family and he got a happy end of his life. Rambo is very large though, i guess his weight at peak was 8 kilos but after some diet he is probably back at 7 kilos at the moment (veterinary check 6 months ago said 6.5 kg). because my mum got him from the cat shelter it says "breed unknown" (or actually Farmers Cat as it is called here in Sweden). what i can say is he is larger than a female maine coon, and even if he is getting old (13 years) he still got it chaising neighbour maine coon cats off my lawn. ladies and gentlemen - Rambo The Cat. cheers from Sweden. thanks for the video
