Hi, I'm Vickie. I live off-grid on a modern 40 acre, homestead in Northern Nevada. I love making sourdough breads, cooking, making soap, canning, dehydrating, gardening, making cheese, and a lot of other things that are required living on a homestead. I love to cook from scratch, and to be prepared for whatever life throws our way. Our faith in our Heavenly Father sustains us through all trials in this life!

The potatoes seem to be doing very well in the boxes. And the okra is absolutely loving the greenhouse! They are already larger than I have ever been able to grow them here, and I have already gotten several pods! Love you! ❤️

I didn't watch all this things were just moving too slow
But the current wheat has been so hybridized that it makes people sick. The only original wheat left is einkorn and spelt has already been hybridized a couple of times. So the only flour I can use so my body doesn't start attacking me is organic einkorn, just be careful because even though einkorn grown in America says organic it can be contaminated. I only trust jovial foods because they grow their einkorn deep in the valeyds of Italy where the soil is not contaminated with the monsanto sprays and poisons. It is the best flour ever. Anything and everything i make with einkorn tastes so amazing. People over complicate it, measure it to death and make it look scary, but 1i just bake it the way I bake with normal flour just remember a few crucial points, einkorn doesn't like to be over kneaded, just fold it a few times and let it rest in between. Do not knead it. Also it has very weak gluten so it won't rise like the conventional flour, I love to make mine with yeast, not baking soda or baking powder, many people do not mind the baking powder taste but i don't like it in my bread or my buns. The current wheat has nothing on einkorn because it was changed by men so much its literally hurting us.

For shipping purposes, yes. Possibly enough room for 2 spiral books, plus extra pages, to give you an idea. I will have to find out what you are looking at, and weigh them to make sure the price is the same.
This is Really Really good. I used Anaheim roasted chilies to layer on the bottom of the pan and NM Hot Green Chilies for the topping with the cheese. I also used Heavy Cream instead. This one makes one of my top recipes that I will be using from now on. Excellent! Thanks for this recipe !!
