Detroit is a beautiful city with distinctive and historic architecture. There sure is a collection of "Debbie Downers" here putting their 2 cents in. Detroit is moving forward every day 😊

When will these f heads figure out that when you copy what others already do, they won’t get as many views and jog the whole thing up?

Yeah, sure. Just go right ahead and do everything that everyone else is already done. Don’t film anything new, but just go ahead and copy everyone else.

One new building does not make a new "skyline". I mean, the Hudson Tower isn't even completed yet and Detroit is already high-fiving itself! A new skyline would be a series of new prominent buildings. Come back after you've built a few more. At least you're heading in the right direction.

Really like the unique drone viewpoints, and how the Hudson's Tower adds more balance and glass to the skyline!

A handful of cheap-looking glass boxes attached to each other... and GM made sure it was not taller than THEIR tallest building. Detroit leadership blew it.

Excellent drove footage and Thank-you. I agree the new tower adds a different dimension to the skyline especially viewed from more downriver. Not a New York or even a Philadelphia., But now more impressive as the metropolis that Detroit is.

I don't understand why they would build a skyscraper in a city with so many vacant buildings.

Foreign investors will buy floors out of that skyrise and use it as collateral on something as an investment or as means to launder money in and out of the United States

The Hudson high rise will be a 5 Star Edition Hotel. The 14 story block will have GM occupy at least 2 floors, plus retail on the lower level.

Your statement is a little vague but it would have been true 10 years ago but now a lot of the towers downtown are occupied 80-100%. This has lead to demand for new buildings.
