Your videos make me so excited to move to the South of France. Merci!
What type of car is that you are driving, please?
You are looking fantastic girls!!❤
Bravo, bravo! Pretty girls driving around amazing views. Its cheerful, fun, light and uplifting. 🌞 Those views-Yes! I just thought how smart and very suitable for you the car is. Now I know about it. Great tip and info. An awesome day indeed. The pastry/sweet in the hotel was looking so yummy. May you take me with you next time? Hehe 😎 +🧢 = 💯🔥
I love your videos so much, thank you for your hard work! There is just one thing I'm wondering: What about the toilets? I would love to do that 2h Cap walk, but I need 1h there anyway from the center and I don't know how to handle 3h without toilet. Is there some kind of toilet on the cap tour? Thank you!
Here I’m 😂❤🎉!Great !I love cap Ferrat too !🎉🎉🎉hugs
French is a pretty tricky language… even after 20+ years in the country, it’s almost 50/50 for us whether a noun is feminine (la) or masculine (le). Well, Africa is a girl, apparently, so our apologies to have called it “him” in the video (we should have said and written “Plage de la Petite Afrique”) 🤪😂 (well, apologies also for our mistakes in English, while we’re at it 😉)
That was fun. Thank you!
🤩 thanks!
If I purchased the pass for 3 days but have to use it for an extra day to travel to Italy, can I reload the pass with the tickets I need? So I don’t have to buy another 3 days to save money. If I can, where can I do this? Or should I just buy my ticket individually and not use the pass after it expires? I’m staying in Nice for 3 days but have to go to italy after the third day but not coming back
Thanks a lot for the informative video! Really appreciate that! Just one question regarding the app. Since my partner and I will take the return flight from another city than Nice, we prefer to use the app instead of the pink card to skip the reimbursement. Do you btw know if I can purchase tickets for both of us via the app? I could only choose single or return ticket in the app but couldn’t find the option to add more passenagers as you could for the pink card. Just want to double check with you in case I missed it 😊 And if it’s not possible to buy tickets for others in the app, do you have any tips on where we can reimburse the pink card in the city center? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for this! I am a chef and am coming to Grasse for a few days next month so this was helpful.
😄 have a wonderful time!
As a French, I can tell you that these ladies know their French products very well! For champagne, the classic Burgundy way, is with cassis cordial. It's called Kir Royal. Another French classic but not from the south!
😄😅🙏
Fantastic and comprehensive guide to Nice - have you any suggestions of where to stay, near all the nice places you have outlined in your food videos - thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks! 😄 Did you watch our recent video about hotels in Nice - we’re showing 5 places in different price categories that all looked really nice to us, all within walking distance to the main tourist areas in Nice. You can also check Airbnb, and look for a radius of maybe 2 km around the old town and you can’t go wrong. The old town itself is convenient because you’re in the middle of it all - but it can be loud and hot (in the summer).
Thanks for the shopping trip ladies 👌 I’m actually from the Uk and meeting some of my family there in September from Australia can’t wait to have a look around the supermarket when I get there now I feel educated and hungry 🤣Many thanks
You‘re welcome! Sounds like a lovely idea to have the family gathering here on the French Riviera! 👌
I am so grateful for your channel! It has been so helpful in planning by trip to Nice and nearby towns. Thank you for your excellent and informative work!!
Happy to hear, thanks for sharing!!! 😍
I enjoyed walking to Nice twice....felt great....and cheap.
Good afternoon Ladies, I have olive trees in Grasse. Which mill would you recommend? And what is the fee? Also, I must say that I am horrified by the price of olive oil in the region. Usually 30-35 euros/L. Where in Italy locally produced olive oil is 15-17 euros/L. So I buy my oil in Italy...
Hey, yes the prices have gone up a lot! When we’re in Liguria we also try to bring back olive oil, because indeed it’s cheaper (and as good). In Grasse there’s only the mill left that we’re showing, in the Saint-Anne quartier, as far as we know. We were impressed with how they work! I can’t remember the fee from the top of my head… by I think we either mention it in the video or put it into the description
Great, I will have a go this year and bring my olives to them. Thank you for the tip!
I have traveled extensively through Italy but the best Pizza was on a back street in Nice where the locals eat. My front desk agent at my hotel took me on a tour. Best experience ever!
Share the place with us?! 🙏😄
@@rivierago I do not remember the name of the shop. It is two streets from off the Rivera on the left hand side. Many immigrants frequent the pizza spot. A hot spot after work hours for service workers. I had never seen pizza put in the microwave and not be soggy. I'll definitely go back in September on my bday excursion. Will give you an update then!!!
thank you! visiting at the end of September for a girls trip!
Enjoy! Perfect time of year! 😄
my 50th bday celebration!!!
I'm moving to Provence this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!
🤩🤩🤩 Good luck with everything, enjoy the adventure!!!

Going with Azzurro BUT Vilfeu Pere et fils in Cannes is in the meantime my number one (even at 6,20/ 2 boules)
Really nice video.. unfortunately you forgot Gelato d‘Amore Rue de France 😢
Great video! Fenocchio is the best!🍦
Love your, in front camera speaking voice... Good vid... Thx much 🙏🏽👍🏽
Thank you!!! 🤩

Is the month of September a good time to visit?
Yes, one of the best times! May/June and September/Oct. are our favorite months.
10 out of 10 video! Thank you guys ❤
Thanks!!!
My sister and I are heading to Nice in Aug & your videos have been so useful in planning the trip. I hope we bump into you guys on the street filming :):)
Come up and say hi if you see us!!! Have a great trip! 🤩
😘😘😘
😍
Summer in Austin Texas is 45C
Oh my god, I can’t imagine… It gets hot on the French Riviera, but not like that. The sea evens out temperatures, so it usually won’t be much warmer than 30/32 degrees Celsius in July/August. It does get way warmer inland, however. But nowhere near 40 degrees (unless exceptional heat wave).
Always enjoy your videos thank you. I’m interested in the hike you mention from upper EZE down to the lower part. Are there any nice views on that walk please, as I’m a keen photographer and will be visiting EZE when I’m in Nice later this year? Cheers from Australia
Thank you! Yes, pretty sure there are a few nice views, there always are when being high above the water around here and then changing height levels. It’s been a while that we actually walked all the way down from Eze village to “Eze bord de mer”, so not able to point out a specific spot. If you haven’t already, maybe watch our videos „top 10 lookout points“ and „Nice-Monaco by car“: you’ll see many places that you’ll want to capture (you might need a car to get to most of the spots, though, unfortunately)
@@rivierago okay great thanks
Do more videos interviewing the owner!
Like when we talked to Roberto, the ice cream maker? We’re never quite sure when things start getting too long and boring for you guys to stick around 😅
Hello there, great video ladies as always. I love Nice can’t wait to be back in July & looking forward to having more of the beautiful ice cream from Fenocchio. Please can you tell me the girl you met in Antibes what is the name of her channel thank you Hilary xx
Hey! There’s a link to Amy’s channel “The Travel Centric” in the video (at 3:37), you’ll also find it in the description in case it doesn’t work. Here it is again: youtube.com/@thetravelcentric Amy has already uploaded 2 walks from her week down here, and there’s more to come 😄
Good evening, I hope you’ve had a lovely day. Thank you so much for that I must of missed it in the video lol. I look forward to having a look at her channel & also look forward to your next video. Thank you once again take care Hilary xx 😃👍🏻
Gotta love this work of yours. Thank you so much for all this content. Can't wait to move to Nice with the family soon.
👍😊 thank you. We’re excited for you!!!
Love you beautifull Ladies. Kiss you the best women on our planet!
🫣😉😍
Ladies, we just got back from our trip to Nice (visiting many of your suggestions from your excellent channel)! Went to both of Fenocchio’s locations you mentioned-delicious, delicious! I am in love with Rose and Violet! Too bad we didn’t know about Arlequin-guess we’ll just have to go back to your lovely corner of the world! Thank you again for your great content, it really provided excellent guidance for our vacation! 😊
Thank you very much, so glad to hear!!! And happy you enjoyed your trip! 🤩 Just before publishing this video (too late! 🫣) another friend told us about his favourite ice cream place in Nice, it’s half way out towards the airport so not necessarily easy to reach when visiting the main tourist spots, but for those who are in that area: you should try Gelato d’Amore in 125 Rue de France. And let us know what you think!
Gourdon is probably my favorite with Tourettes sur Loup. I love the proximity with nature. There's also the pain d'épices baker who fantastic! It's located in a cul sac on the right hand side of the village main street.
It’s funny that you mention the pain d’épices (~ginger bread) from Gourdon: my doctor told me about that same spot just the other day!!! So there must really be something about it… and yes, lovely Tourette’s-sur-Loup. About time we covered that village!!! 😊😊😊
The museum of Classic Art in Mougins us going to become the FAMM, dedicated to female artists.
Thanks for pointing that out! We heard something was changing since we went there… but hadn’t heard details, sounds great!
😋😋🤩😉👍🌞🍦....😎 hehe ! 👍🤍🥳 stop teasing, sunny girls🥴. I guess I am most interest in the place where it tastes as it sounds. Even the chocolate ice cream colour looked so much more intense. On the other hand, most of the ice-cream places are great and of great quality. Which one you said is your favourite? I know you are very polite, but tell me pls...
🫣😉😍 The ice cream at Arlequin and César had this incredibly authentic taste, perfect texture as well - so 100% recommended. At Neron we tried the fruity, colourful flavors: again, you can tell that they use quality fruits to get the delicious taste. But you need to try for yourself (also rose and violet at Fenocchio!)… I can’t remember ever having had ice cream anywhere around here that I didn’t like 😅 (sorry for beating around the bush 😉). Also: try Gelato d’Amore which is a bit farther out to the west, but apparently is so good, too
@@rivieragoNoted. 🤭👍 I know, not easy to answer when you have so many quality choices. But you understood me well I know, and I appreciate your answer and advice. It's not easy for you to answer, but imagine us....watching you sample and enjoying all those flavours 🤣😜 . Just kidding of course. Looking forward to try soon. See you girls! 🌞🤍
Great fenocchio !!!!
Hello dear!🎉😂❤
🤩
Great video! It's really helpful. Are these restaurants child friendly?
In our experience, French restaurants generally are very child friendly. We can’t say specifically for the ones we showed in this video - but we‘ve always taken our kids everywhere from a very small age, and we always felt welcome. It‘s common to see children of all ages in restaurants in France. Especially at the beach it’s easy to bring kids, they can play in the sand next to your table, and there may even be playground areas (obviously, there’s also the sea right next the restaurants, so watch closely where the kids are wandering around). The south of France is great for bringing kids!
Oh I miss Antibes!
We don’t blame you…
Hi, just like Lignes d'Azur card, does buying a single Sur d'Azur card work for both me and my partner?
No, you‘ll need one each of Pass Sud Azur Explore!
Does anyone know if the 3 Day Pass SudAzur is good for 72 hours from first use, or three calendar days. Meaning if we use it on Monday afternoon at 4pm is the pass only good until Wednesday or Thrusday at 4pm?
Hi, very valid question! I called the agency and they said calendar days. So no matter at what time of day you start using it, that day will count as full day no. 1.
Fun! Local tour guides are always a Nice way to see things from another perspective
Couldn’t agree more! 😄👍
Merci Beaucoup
Avec grand plaisir 😄
Hi, should I buy the Lignes d'Azur card or the SudAzur card for getting around the French Riviera? I'm staying for 4 days here. Would really appreciate your suggestion on this.
Hi! If you stay in Nice, the Lignes d‘Azur card is fine, if you want to travel to Cannes, Antibes, Monaco, Menton… consider the Pass Sud Azur Explore, because it allows you to take (regional! TER) trains (on top of the bus and tram lines that are covered with Lignes d‘Azur tickets, plus buses that run between cities)
@@rivierago thank you so much for your very helpful suggestion. It's a pleasure watching your very informative videos.
