That is beautiful! I am very new to Bible journaling. I am not artistic but I am trying. Where do you get the gel plates that are attached to another one?
Very helpful. Thanks!
If brayer your lacy stencil directly with the acrylic paint, and then lay the brayered side on your gel plate, then lift the stencil, let it dry, do another layer, you will get a super detailed print. Thanks for sharing your fun video. 😃
Ty, This is the best teaching on scripture cards the Lord gave me the scripture be careful for nothing Philippians 4:6-8I’m going to make some for a ministry my friend has and myself ❤thank you
Can't believe we are just finding this! Thank you for the love!!!
Me too!
I know this is an old video, but helped me today! I made 2 mini paintings to gift to my sons. I wanted to give it to them tonight at dinner, but I didn't want just to hand it like that, and didnt have bags. So I searched for "Gift bag with a 12 x 12 paper", and your video was the easiest and quickest project! I just used Kraft cardstock so I could write their names on it, and made to holes on top to pass some thread to tie it close. I love how it came out! Just wanted to say thank you!!
Your opening scene page - how can you read the actual printed words of your Bible thru all of that stuff???
I'm new to Gesso. I bought the Dina Wakley. I was able to use markers without bleeding. A first. What nobody told me. 1. The amount of time needed to dry. 2. My pens are more likely to smear on the gesso surface. I'm otherwise happy.
Van you use a Air brush?
Great idea. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us. I found your channel today and I have subscribed.
No heat gun? Use your hair dryer
Can you see the printed text of the Bible under all that stuff?
What about trying isopropyl alcohol instead of water, maybe?
I’ve missed your videos friend. Hope you are doing ok
I'm so glad I came across you again. I was trying to remember some of the bible art journaling channels so I could get some inspiration. I couldn't remember yours and then it popped up today. I'm grateful God lead me back. Thank you for this entry. I'll check out your printable as well.
It looks beautiful but how can you read the text that you covered up?
Thanks
What are the dimensions of that gel plate? (I couldn't find it in the product information; that only seems to list the overall size of the package.)
What a fun project.🌈🎨🖍️🖌️🪡🧵
Welcome back 😁📚☕
You can always flip the plate over if one side is damaged. Also you can cut your plate down to different shapes and sizes of both sides are damaged. They are so easy to cut in any shape or size you want with a straight edge and blade. Just a recommendation. :)
Studying scripture aids in understanding and personal growth. Psalm 119:11 highlights the importance of storing God's word in one's heart. Crafts are fun. I am curious how you study your Bible when you cover the words of scripture? It seems that this would be better in a Bible journal instead of the actual Bible. Notes and highlights and transparent colors make it to where you can actually see scripture. Covering up the words in the Bible can hinder the direct engagement and understanding of its teachings. I would encourage you to leave open access to the text to allow for a deeper connection with the message and it facilitates meaningful study that way. The page you covered is of no use to study now?
Hey there! Thanks for your question! The Bibles I use in my Bible journaling are specifically designed to create faith art in. I have a different set of Bibles that are my reading/studying Bibles. In those…yes I will highlight and take notes but in a more traditional format and not an “artistic” way. I hope this answers your question!
Welcome back, creative friend. God brought you back at a time I really needed a virtual hug. Praying for you and your family.
I love this.. However, would you go into more detail about how to close it? So that it can be opened and closed again. Thank you😊
I just found you and this page is stunning!!! Thank you for sharing!
Very creative! Thanks for sharing this idea!😊
I am from Brazil. Simplesmente maravilhoso esse projeto. Eu amei!!! Thank you for sharing,
Great techniques! Will be trying them out tonight! Can you use the blending solution on a gel plate?
Love this! Thanksfor sharing
Love your ideas but I wouldn’t’ cover up the text in a bible.
I have a separate Bible that I don't journal in so I always have it to read from. Also, I might print out a particular verse from that page and add it as a tip in.
Most people that Bible journal (art) aren’t using the Bible that they’re Bible journaling in as their main Bible. Most have at least 2. One to journal in and another to read from. I use an interleaved Bible that has a blank page front and back after a page of scripture front and back to art journal in. I have quite a few Bibles, though.
I feel that way too. I see SO many that do it but it makes me too nervous!
Love your page
Thank you !
How do you get journaling Bibles?
Where did you get your Bible?
❤ So creative! Love this idea. Going to try it. 😊
Great video. I know I can see the results at the end, but during the video, would it be possible to hold the prints steady, once pulled?
Thank you for sharing. I got some great ideas. ☺️
Dumb question but can’t you turn your gel plate over?
😍😍😍 Absolutely stunning ideas! Thank you for sharing ❤
Thanks for the tutorial. It looks like you leave your gel plat in the bottom of its container. What are the advantages over having it on a work surface? It looks I teresting.
Love this. Thank you for having this video. I’m new subscriber

Did the alcohol ink stain your gel press plate?
Love this Idea ❤thank you
If you put baby oil on your gelli plate before you put it away it will keep it moist and tacky feeling , just like it's supposed to , I do it to all my gelli plates ,.it works great ,all mine are like new..
I LOVE THIS! I'm going to try to find this calendar at my Dollar Tree. The colors are so my Jam too! One question.. what do you put inside of it?
I haven’t 100% decided. I am either going to use it as an art journal…so add more layers of paint and words and stuff like I did on the cover OR I am going do some do that, but glue in lined pages so I can use it for a journal. I can’t decide! Lol
@@TheCreativeLifeStudios those sound like great ideas! I think I'm going to try to figure out how to add pages to mine! Thanks! ❤️
Love it! 😊
