I am a fan of Devanand and in my teenage age, at the age of 15-16, he entered my body forever after watching his film, and today even at the age of 78, he has not yet come out of my body and is still in my body. is alive. I tried three times to meet Devanand in Mumbai but I failed as he was out of Mumbai all the three times. I would like to share some things related to Devanand Sahab, Dev Anand's full name was "Dharm Dev Anand" and his father's name was "Pishori Mal Anand". I had a tenant who came to Kanpur from Lahore after the partition of the country. His name was Moti Lal Anand. He knew Dev Anand's family in Lahore. Dev Anand was a student of English literature in the Government College of Lahore, along with a girl named "Usha Chopra" used to study in his college, whom Dev Anand loved very much. Dev was very shy in nature, he was not very attractive and had a lean body get-up. While walking, his body used to jump in tricolors, there was no attraction in him. To see and meet Usha Chopra, in the corridor located on the first floor of the college, classmates used to stand with friends on the support of a pillar and used to wait for Usha Chopra. Due to his shy nature, Dev could not express his heart's love to Usha Chopra. Later Dev Saheb got separated from Usha Chopra. He regretted it for the rest of his life. Maybe because of the first love. Dev Saheb had no intention of going to films, because Dev Anand was not so attractive when seen with ordinary eyes. Dev Saheb became famous because of his photogenic face and while walking, bending the neck of his body, crooked movements of his hands and feet, and the movements of the external organs of the body and the movements and movements of the body, and the tone of speaking dialogues. Because of which he became famous on the film screen. Overall, due to the pain of love and romance hidden inside the body, the pain hidden in the heart due to separation from the girlfriend and the qualities of special physical getup, Devanand became engrossed in films and all these mental and physical qualities together made "Dharm Dev Anand" Devanand. made immortal.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,मै देवानंद का फैन हू और किशोर वय मे यही कोई 15-16 साल की उम्र मे उनकी फिल्म देखकर वे हमेशा के लिए मेरे शरीर मे घुस गए और आज 78 साल की उम्र मे भी अभी शरीर के बाहर नहीं निकले है और अभी मेरे शरीर मे जिंदा है. मैंने तीन बार देवानंद से मुंबई मे मुलाकात के लिए प्रयास किया लेकिन मै असफल रहा क्योंकि तीनों बार वह मुंबई से बाहर थे. कुछ बाते जो देवानंद साहब से जुड़ी है ,मै सबसे शेयर करना चाहूँगा, देव आनंद का पूरा नाम ''धर्म देव आनंद'' था और उनके पिता का नाम '' पिशोरी मल आनंद'' था. मेरे एक किरायेदार थे जो लाहौर से देश के बटवारे के बाद कानपुर आए थे. उनका नाम मोती लाल आनंद था. ये लाहोर मे देव आनंद के परिवार को जानते थे. देव आनंद Lahore के गवर्नमेंट कालेज मे english literature के छात्र थे ,उनके कालेज मे साथ साथ ''उषा चोपड़ा'' नाम की लड़की पढती थी जिसे देव आनंद बहुत प्यार करते थे. देव बहुत शर्मीले स्वभाव के थे ,ये बहुत आकर्षक नहीं थे और दुबले पतले शरीर के गेट-अप वाले थे.चलते समय उनका शरीर तिरकों-तीन लहजे मे जुंबिश मारता था, इनमे कोई आकर्षण भी नहीं था। उषा चोपड़ा को देखने और मिलने के लिए कालेज के पहले माले पर स्तिथि गलियारे मे एक खंभे के सहारे सहपाठी दोस्तों के साथ खड़े रहते थे और उषा चोपड़ा का इंतजार किया करते थे. शर्मीले स्वभाव के कारण देव उषा चोपड़ा से अपने दिल के प्यार का इजहार नही कर सके. बाद मे देव साहब उषा चोपड़ा से बिछुड़ गए. इसका मलाल उन्हे जीवन भर रहा. शायद पहला प्यार होने के कारण. देव साहब का इरादा फिल्मों मे जाने का नही था,क्योंकि साधारण आँखों से देखने पर देव आनंद इतने आकर्षक नहीं थे. देव साहब इसलिए प्रसिद्धध हुए क्योंकि उनका photogenic face और चलते फिरते समय उनके शरीर की गर्दन झुकाने टेढ़े मेढ़े दिखने वाली हाथ पैरों की चाल और शरीर मे होते रहने वाली फड़कन और जुंबिश लेती हुई शरीर के बाहरी अंगों की हलचलों और हरकतों और डायलाग बोलने के लहजे के कारण फिल्मी परदे पर प्रसिद्धध हुए. कुल मिलाकर शरीर के अंदर छिपे प्यार और रोमांस का दर्द, प्रेमिका से बिछड़ने की मंन मे छिपी पीड़ा और special शरीरिक getup की खूबियों के कारण देवानंद फिल्मों मे छा गए और इन सब मानसिक और शारीरिक खूबियों ने मिलकर " धर्म देव आनंद " को देवानंद बनाकर अमर बना दिया.

No one is equel to him in this regard till today in indian cinema. He still occupies my whole heart & will remain till I leave this mundane world .❤

I am much older than this gentleman and don't agree with what he is saying. Dev Saheb gave break to Guru Dutt in Baazi not Jaal which was not Navketan movie. As far as Nasir Hussain is concerned he arrived much later on the Scene whereas Devanand was already a big Star. He had big hits like Baazi, Jaal, Taxi Driver.If at all anyone deserves credit for Devanand 's success are his two brothers,Chetan& Goldie and also SD Burman ...

But Devsaab himself was responsible for shaping Goldie Anand's career though the evergreen star was frank about the fact nobody could direct classics like JOHNNY MERA NAAM, JEWEL THIEF and GUIDE like Vijay Anand did. If an individual needs to be credited for the success of a legendary star like Dev Anand, it's got to be(as per Devsaab himself) thespian Ashok Kumar and fellow screen icon Balraj Sahni.
