  Drained mine on a level driveway. Let it fully drain out. Only took 5 quarts to get to cross marks on dipstick. What am i missing??

  Thanks a ton for this- I had an 02 vette about 10 yrs ago and remember having to go through this all the time. I sold that car about five years ago and forgot the process. Just bought an 03 and this video was awesome for instructing me how to do all this once again.

  Because I live in the Atlanta area. Traffic is bananas on 75/85/285. Ain’t no way in hell I’d drive a stick shift as a daily. If I stayed in a low traffic area, yeah, stick shift all day. Plus my wife can’t drive a stick.

  I think you might be please to know that the automatic has a performance shift mode that can be enabled. It is designed to mimic a manual transmission and has a more performance oriented shift. It's more firm and holds rpms longer. 😊

  Still pretty cool even if the package wasn’t a HUGE difference, I mean it makes the C5’s with them way more rare than a normal C5! My C5 does include the Z51 package along with some other rare stuff like a HUD and more!

  After 2 year, the bolts still strong? Im in the process of replacing those due to corrosion in the stock bolts.

  @@YellowVette04 Thanks! I was a little worried about the grade and quality of the bolt because the rear suspension of the car depends on those two bolts. I was worried about having an accident using bolts that are not original

  @@edgardovigo147 grade 8 bolts are really strong. Just make sure you get grade 8 and you’ll be OK

  I heard that it can affect if you put full synthetic in a corvette that is not from 2001 or 2004, my corvette is from 99, won't it be a problem if I put it?

  With stock wheels and fenders/quarter panels it's too much in my opinion. I'm sure there's pics somewhere on the internet to see if it's a look you like or not.

  I didn't have to remove my battery or washer fluid reservoir. I just reached down in there and you can put the first two out then the other far back one I just scrunched in my hand. It was all leaves so it was easier for me. Now on the passanger side you can just pull it straight out

  stick just becomes second nature. if auto tickles your fancy then stick with it but definitley try to learn if its an option.

  I just bought an auto and it’s actually pretty solid. Plus these are cheap and abundant to work on. I’m glad I Bought the auto the clutch packs are ridiculously expensive. I can pull and rebuild motors and trans for a freaking bargain. 😊

  I just bought a 2002 C5 for 18,500.00. Will definitely not be a daily driver. That is what my Toyota is for. This C5 will be spoiled. 😊 I take great care of my vehicles and will keep this one. Same with my Toyota. 1 garage bay for the vette and the other to service my other daily drivers and store tools and supplies for those vehicles and the house. 😊

  I just bought a ‘97 automatic and the reason was simple… my mom and stepdad was selling theirs, It has 54k miles, is mint and I only gave $10k for it. I do want to buy a C6 Z06 or ZR1, but this is a great starter for my collection. Auto or 6 speed who cares, it’s a Corvette!!

  Everyone seems to think they can out-engineer the people who spent a billion and a half designing the car. Then they bring it to my shop to get an alignment on a f-ed up car. Of course they have over sized tires and want the car slammed on to them, and blame me when the tires rub.Then they gripe about the "Corvette tax". We don't tax the car, just the d*ck who owns it.

  Installed a very similar deal from Spoiler King today on my new Civic. The biggest tip I can give is I left my spoiler on my dash in direct hot sunlight for 5 hours. The spoiler was extremely flexible because of this. I couldnt imagine installing these spoilers cold. They harden up when cold. Soft as spaghetti when hot.
