  @@KateAfful-i8m good question It depends on your COS, if maintenance is certified on your potential COS you’ll only bear the cost of TB test, police report, health surcharge and minor expenses but bear in mind that if you get here as a Maths teacher you’ll be given back £5000 and £10,000 for science teachers. So in effect my friend didn’t loose anything

  And please in my case I’m a private school teacher in Ghana and I’ve passed my license exam as well just that I’m waiting for a government (GES) appointment whiles I work with the private school for the meantime. Am I eligible to apply for QTS once I have the license though I’m working in the private sector or it’s only for teachers working in the government sector (GES)?

  That one is called the high potential visa If you hold certificate from singapore, china, south Africa and some other countries then you can apply for that one too.. Gov.uk publish the schools and the countries every year
