Thanks and yes, the Tohatsu is a snug fit, so much so that we had a new transom made to allow the rear of the engine cowling to miss the rear wall of the well. @Seajade Жыл бұрын
The solar panel works well to keep the leisure battery topped up and the electric Epropulsion motor doesn’t get hot. But, we’ve moved the panel to the hatch top now because we want to use a petrol engine at times and it's a bit too tall to sit under the panel. The electric motor is fantastic in all respects though but it’s the range we sometimes worry about. We've never emptied two batteries and got ourselves into trouble but there's always that nagging doubt ........ I thought Kairos was WB112?

Did anything influence your decision in particular? Thanks for another great vid. 🙂

The motor is brilliant but it can't be raised in the well. The space isn't big enough. What we do is fold the handle / tiller flat but the propellor stays in the water. We keep the battery in the rear locker and use an extension cable - again because there's not enough room in the well.
