I love how she speaks of her sister. That we can feel content in the knowledge that Lucy had more life and love in her short life and now in death, more meaning and beauty than two abusers could ever have

I was enraptured by this wonderful telling of the story when Satan intruded in the form of yet another commonplace advert, the repitition of which is intrusive and mind numbing. Every which way "they" sell their wares to humongous irritation and annoyance. Nothing is sacred in their world. They spoil EVERYTHING!

And here is another true scholar - meaning, one who seeks knowledge, understanding, truth, and wisdom, with a fully engaged capacity for critical thinking, questioning of all dogmas, reigning ideologies, group-think and presuppositions, and a willingness to investigate, think, and speak, with freedom, independence and openness of both heart and mind, which cannot be separated, nor either one rejected or suppressed, lest both be blinded and eclipsed. Naturally, she rejects the four hundred year old delusion, which is now dying and fading to dust, of Newtonian-Cartesian, mechanistic thinking, and the atomistic, dualistic, materialist reductionist paradigm, or world view, which it represents, and which has always been, not only grossly inadequate, inaccurate, and positively delusional, but also, catastrophic, in social, ecological, spiritual, intellectual, cultural, economic and political terms. She speaks with eloquence, erudition, and passion - and power - of the life and legacy of Hildegard of Bingen, who is truly, a philosopher, and saint, and guiding, inspiring, galvanizing figure for our time, in this very deeply and ominously troubled 21st century, plutocratic-ruled, media-saturated, fractured, fragmented, cataclysmically self-destructive, hubris and apathy and cynicism filled, techno-entranced, deeply alienated and divided world, poised on the brink of either collective self-annihilation, through the slow and agonizing death by strangulation from a dystopian empire of psychopathic neo-feudal power elites - or a collective rebirth and liberation, in a new Renaissance. Hear her words well. Hildegard of Bingen, St. Paul's Forum: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iKFhwcWfc9nQmsY.htmlsi=t2QRFH-rfsCul9PU Please see my own scholarly work, on Amazon, WordPress, Substack, Rumble, KZread, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter/X And all great bookstores. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. kjv It's the nhs in verse thirty.

David Suchet is such a blessing! I loved him as Poirot. But hearing him read the scriptures is exponentially better! Any time I have anxiety I play this and it calms me down. The setting of the cathedral seems so holy. Thank you, Mr. Suchet! You will receive blessings in heaven for giving the world this gift 🙏💜

You do not understand scripture. You will NEVER understand God or Jesus. One has to be Born Again to understand Scripture. I this man trying to sell his unbelief to us? I just cannot believe how little you understand. With this little understanding, you call yourself to be a pastor, because you were not called by God. What kind of services did you have? I can answer your question right after this gentleman quit speaking and that is that the gate and the path to perdition is wide and many will enter, while the path and the gate to glory is narrow and few will enter. This is your answer. But this man answers his own question by bringing slavery to the forefront. How about being loyal to God or My Father in heaven when you talk about the gay son getting married. Who is your allegiance with? My God man, you think too highly of yourself. Listen to yourself speak, how many times did you say I, me, mine, but mostly I, I ,I!!! You are a better Christian when you tell people the TRUTH.

I am glad this gentleman was not my pastor. He is trying to intellectualize everything, especially Faith, to be like a child's. The is to sell his books, is it not? I was able to listen only about 23 minutes and that is it!! This is bad stuff!

  • @gregoryt8792

In 1910 Ivan Panin, a Harvard math genius and linguistic expert, proved the Bible mathematically. Watch - Math proves the Bible. Most recently a 30 year veteran cold case criminologist J. Warner Wallace proved the Bible forensically in his book, Person of Interest. His testimony would convince any jury of the veracity of the Bible. Some of the amazing things in the Bible include the prophecy of the fall of Tyre and the prophecy of Alexander the great. Bible firsts include knowing life being in the blood long before modern science, or the Bible knowing about mountains and currents in the oceans or how the earth hangs on nothing. You should know about the prophecies fulfilled by Jesus and the impossible odds of that happening. The Bible is a reliable collection of historical documents written down by eye witnesses during the lifetime of other eye witnesses. They report to us supernatural events that took place in fulfillment of specific prophecies and claim that the writings are divine rather than human in origin. The Bible has also been proven archaeologically, historically and linguistically. 2 Peter 1:16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
