    Great performance by this awesome band! I gotta say though, why is a three piece band spread so far apart on a huge stage, it looks really odd.

    The band has a wonderful sense of grandeur and scale that makes it hard to believe that it is the sound of a band with only three members. As always, the band's ability to compose music and construct varied songs as well as their playing ability is superb.

    They looked a little confused on the bigger stage than usual, but their performance was sexy and wonderful! I hope to see them perform on a much larger stage to usher in the full-fledged "dawn" of asterism. It would be a waste of your skills to stay on the small stages in Japan. I hope that your music will reach as many people around the world as possible.

    Yes, their shows were short. I could easily listen to them playing the whole day. But it was a festival format, kind of. So, they did only 30-40 min short shows, 6-8 songs only.

    Yes, it was my pleasure too! Thank you very much for coming all the way from Germany! I think for ASTERISM-san it was also very nice to see these three grey-haired European men who appreciated them so much! I wish there would be a hundred die-hard ASTERISM fans there, but I hope it's just a modest beginning!

    Excellent work again, Vladimir! It seems really unusual to see them on such a large stage, but they really do deserve to be up there with the best bands. I'm really happy you were able to see them live, but also just a little jealous, okay well maybe a lot jealous would be more accurate. Please take care and have an amazing week.

    Halca as 3rd LOVEBITES guitar... in my dreams.

  • @VladimirChupin
    @VladimirChupinСағат бұрын

    Oh man, LOVEBITES already has enough guitars! 😂 I was rather thinking of a vocalist for ASTERISM, who could fit them. Maki Oyama would be a perfect fit, but she's a generation older, and probably they are too different to form a band. I thought of the vocalist from "362", her name is Kurumi Skywalker. She is a HAL-CA of vocals. But it seems she is happy in her IRIS MONDO tiny band, just playing on the streets most of the time.

    Over time, this has gradually become my favourite piece of music. I will never tire of listening to new fancams of it, even now I've had the privilege of hearing it in person. The performance on Takako's channel will always be the definitive one for me because it was the first I heard, but they're on fire in this one too. Thanks for uploading!

    The sound in the hall was very good. But for recording purposes, I tried to stay in front of a subwoofer at the centre of the stage, at HAL-CA's place. I was thoroughly enjoying the sound myself at that spot, it was great. That piercing guitar sound... Man oh man...

    I can't believe they played in Europe so many times this year and I still couldn't go see them! Thanks for the video, I really hoped I could see some footage online at least. How many people were in the audience? It looks like a big stage

  • @VladimirChupin
    @VladimirChupin37 минут бұрын

    This is Tsubame, a tiny stage in the corner of the main hall. It was actually an advantage, since the whole big hangar could hear them, and it looked like a couple thousand people would come each time to see them. They also played twice in the big Ichigo hall. On Friday, they were "The Event of the Day" of Japan Expo, and I would also estimate the attendance to be like couple thousand people.

  • @mysticaloha
    @mysticaloha12 сағат бұрын

    Yes, bassist has more strings than guitarist in Asterism... :) They have been a 100% instrumental band until their last album which is 100% sung by 21 years old guitarist Hal-Ca. We'll see about the future.

  • @VladimirChupin
    @VladimirChupin33 минут бұрын

    @@kampfret She is actually Haruka Nomo, "HAL-CA" is how she stylized her name to be the one and only 😍 They are my second favorite band now. First is BAND-MAID, and the second is ASTERISM. They still call themselves "an instrumental band," it's written on their T-shirts, and HAL-CA was saying it each time at the start of the Anime Medley they played at this Japan Expo. "We are an instrumental band, so please sing the vocals." She was singing those anime songs a little bit, though, to help the audience sync with the music.

    It seems they have found some permanent, albeit modest, source of income, and now they have a budget to pursue their dreams. They go over the world, and they record albums... And it seems they are not under pressure from the label to become commercially viable-it seems they already are. So, I do hope they will continue their journey and bring us many new great songs and instrumentals and rock operas and epic symphonies!
